I don't remeber military etiquet completly, but I think he is supposed to hold it down like that and then he lifts it and smaks the bride on the butt as she passes.

Great pics... can't wait to see MOOORE!!

... I thought during the arch, some of the men left the saber down until the bride and groom kissed and then raised it to let them pass once they kissed. I've seen both smacks and kisses!!

ETA: Do you see that BLING on the finger during the first dance?!?! Woohoo!!!

The Army does the arch of sabers, too It may be all military.

Ashley, you look very beautiful and both of you look sooo happy. The guys all look great in their dress uniforms(much nicer than army ones )
