Christmas present for FH???
Joe and I are trying not to spend much on each other for Christmas (I begged to not buy anything... but I know that he will buy me something). I am terrible at shopping for other people!! What is everyone else getting their FH for Christmas???
Usually Joe and I go in on something big for the house (like a TV, computer, or furniture) for Christmas (otherwise we would never buy these things!!) and do personalized gifts for eachother for our birthdays. But not this year.
He has more clothes than I do, but he loves cooking... however, I have bought him cooking items (like knife sets, etc.) for many years, and need something more creative.
Any ideas????
This may be in the wrong area, and I apologize... but I need help!!!!!!!

Does he like tools? I'm buying DH tools for Christmas, among other things.
Or splurge on something he normally wouldn't for himself...concert tickets, sports tickets, etc...

I am getting him a one of a kind (made to look like us) cake topper .... lol ok ok ... I am really getting it for myself but I will put his name on the package.
I think I figured out what his real gift should be and that's software. He's really been wanting a copy of Ilife for his Mac .... now I just have to find out how much it is. I am also considering a digital graphics tablet.
but I don't suppose any of these things are going to be good for your FH unless he's a graphic designer too LOL

I have no clue... I think I'll probably end up buying him some really nice, non-wrinkle suits. He's been traveling so much and my husband can't iron to save his life. On his trip before England, I took out everything from his closet and dresser and ironed it all. He was so suprised (and happy), but I wanted to show him what it would look like all nice and organized. He leaves his clothes in the dryer for a couple days after they're dry. Okay, so I'm rambling about my husband wrinkle problem. Sorry!
That's what I'm doing - new suits, updated ties and a few professional shirts that don't wrinkle.

My Xmas pressie for Damon is going to be boring for him this year - I have ordered him a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) Hoodie, he loves the UFC!!! We have given ourselves a £40 limit to spend on each other this year, its something he specifically wants and I feel a bit stink that its not going to be a surprise! I think I will get him something else little so he atleast has some sort of surprise on the day!

I did this for Justin's b-day......he ended up with a male masuse (sp?)
and he wasn't very comfortable about that. He made the mistake of telling my brother about it and to this day my brother will ask Justin, "How's Matt doing?"

How about an inexpensive toy that relates to an interest of his, or a private joke between you two?

Actually, yes!! He builds houses, but I would have no idea of what to get him!! I guess I can take him to Lowes or Home Depot (my two least fav. places in the world) for something else... and pay attention to what he looks at!!

Alan doesn't cook... but he does do pancakes for the girls on the weekends. It's such a treat for them. I bought him a high end spatula with a stainless steel handle and am getting the handle engraved with something cute like "we flip for Daddy's pancakes"
I'm just putting it in his stocking... but that might inspire you for something for DH.

What I'm getting DJ for Christmas won't help, since it's expensive. I'm going to take him to Vancouver Island for a long weekend in February to a bed and breakfast there ( http://www.beaconsfieldinn.com/index.htm). We've never gotten to go away on our own together, so I really want to do this to give us some time all by ourselves for a weekend (remember, we live in the bottom floor of his dad's house.)
As for ideas for your FH, I like the idea of cooking classes! Then he could practice by making some yummy dishes for you.
