Well I’m back from Puerto Rico and have some updates….
- Went to the reception site and I loved it!!!! I’m so pleased with it and FH is happy too….
The hotel has beautiful sites for pictures; the hotel is not fancy but is really nice and cozy…
- Went to the church and made sure that I had everything I need for the wedding.
- Got a bridal package from one of the bridal houses. This includes:
Wed. Dress
Crinoline (sp?)
Alterations
Veil
Tiara
Pillow for the rings
Bag for cards
Guest book
Toast glasses
Flower girl basket with arrangement
Decoration for the reception which includes all the flower arrangements and center pieces, top of table cloth, photo area, etc
Basket for the favors (that’s the one that I will carry when we are going to distribute the favors)
Decoration for the church
Flowers for the bms
My flower arrangement and MOH flower arrangement
The knife set for the cake
Corsages for the mothers
I think that includes something else but I’m not sure, don’t have the paper with me….
So with the decoration they will go and decorate the site on the wedding day (of course before the wedding) then, they will go and pick everything up, so I don’t have to worry at all of decoration.
The dress I’m going back to PR in August so I will choose my dress then and have the initial fitting of the dress, then when I go back in December I will have the final fitting and have it on time for the wedding.
All this for just $2,107.00
I wish I could show all of you a pic of the flowers we choose and how the decoration is going to be but he doesn’t have a website that I know… maybe he has but I don’t know will have to check the business card. But we saw the pics of his work and wow… beautiful……
- We also choose the cake… is going to be very simple, I do have a picture, is not a good one though because is a picture of a picture I will post it anyway….
The flowers are going to be the same kind that are going to be used at the wedding….
- We also went to speak with two photographers, one was already taken for that day and the other one does a fantastic and amazing job but is way too expensive….. so we are not hiring him for our wedding, my mom is going to speak with two others to see what we can find…..
- Got some cards for music…. My mom is going to make some phone calls to see if we can get a contract
- Got a sample of a fabric with the exact color for the wedding, that way everyone is looking into the same tone of lavender.
-Finalized guest list (well the first list) So far that’s the list that we are using, we might eliminate people later on or we might add some. But so far that’s it!!!!

very beautiful and elegant choices. I love the favor and the second cake! I'm gonna try to post a pic of my friends wedding, she had lavender/white as her colors too
