Default Here's the other two...

All of my BM are pretty thin (isn't it a rule that at least one BM should be bigger than you? lol, just kidding) although two of them are a little busty. The dresses will be navy blue....unless I decide to change it to red, but I think red, navy blue, and silver looks too patriotic.

I like the 2nd one (the grey is the back of the navy blue beneath it right?)

ETA: the last one looks more functional though.

Yes, it's the back of that one.

If no one has fat rolls on their back, I vote for #2.

If they do, then my vote is for #1

It may be hard for the "busty" women to wear strapless. I had all of my BM's in different style dresses (same color). There were 2 different types of fabric though. Everything turned out a-ok. If I can find a pic of everyone, I will post it.

I think they are all nice dresses! If it were up to me as a BM to make a selection, I would go with the one that is shorter in the front and longer in the back. I like that it is not satin, and I like that it looks like after the wedding you could get the train part altered off and have a pretty cocktail dress that doesn't look like a bridesmaids dress.

Yeah, on the last one, the train already detaches. So you wouldn't have to have it altered, just take the train off. That's why I like it, the girls can wear it after as a cocktail dress or whatever. I'm almost tempted to just get one myself....I like it! Lol. And all the girls are ok with strapless, which is good, and all of the dresses except the blue/silver one come with optional straps. I think the only one who doesn't like the last one is my sister....why do siblings have to be such pains? Lol.

Thumbs up # 4!

Yes, I think I voted on this one before. I still like #4. The detachable train makes it even cooler--dressy for the ceremony and then lets whip that baby off and partaaaay!

I like #1 and #3 the most. I do like #4, but IMO (just being honest here), that kind of skirt, long in the back and short in the front, is a little outdated. But, if you can remove it for the wedding, then that's a really cute dress. I think it's going to come down to if you want them to wear a full formal gown or a tea-length dress. They will give your wedding a little different feel, depending on which one you go with.

Hey Whiddle, did you ever find a pic of all your bridesmaids? Just curious. Thanks.

I like the 4th one. But the 5th one would be good for the gals to wear some other time then the wedding...

Just my opinion here but I vote for the last one without the train. I love the shorter length but I'm not keen on the train, maybe it'd look better in the flesh than it does in the pic. I like the navy one that's second to last too, but maybe the ties a bit too long... I don't envy you the decision, must be very difficult to keep so many BMs happy!

Actually, it's impossible. If it were completely up to me and I didn't care about other's feelings, I would have already picked out the last one. I really like that dress, the two piece look hides anyone's tummy, and I think the train is neater than a skeeter's peter. Lol. But, since I do care about the other's feelings...my sister is the only one who really detests that dress. I told her last night I was leaning towards that one and she got all huffy and said, "Well then I guess I'm not going to be in it because I'm not buying a dress I think is ugly." My reply, you ask? "Well then, I guess you'll have fun watching from the benches." (Such a nice pair of siblings we make, lol.) So I dunno....I'm thinking I should resort to my earlier plan and we all go naked. No arguments about dresses there.

Hey sparkle, does your sister say why she doesn't like the dress? Does she just think it's ugly, or is she concerned about the way it will fit her because of her size/shape? The reason I ask is because My BM dresses were a similar shape, and my 'maids varied greatly is size and shape and the dress was flattering on everyone. I also bought them all wraps to cover their arms if they were uncomfortable with their arms showing. I also told them to add spaghetti straps if they wanted to.

duh

Lol, yes, I believe it is a good thing. (I apologize, that was my hillbilly upbringing coming out. ) Bebe- I've asked her before why she doesn't like it, and she just says she doesn't like it. Descriptive, huh? And it can be worn with straps, whichever the girls are fine with is ok with me. I *might* be able to convince her if she didn't have to wear the train, but would it look goofy with hers being the only one without it? Decisions, decisions....

Oh, and since this thread has been bumped, I was inspired to look again at dresses....they've come out with more. Lol, like I need more options to look at....

Ok, I've got it down to three. I'm not looking anymore!!!!! This last one is one of the new ones, and I really like it. I may not even offer the other two as options, just tell them all this is the one you're getting! Lol.

So it's down to the other two still posted, and this one. Yea! Making progress, lol.

Oh that's definately my favourite out of all of them!
I think I'd just show them this one and not give them anymore choices!

Default I did it!!!!!

Ok, my sister tried on the pink dress tonight. (It's the link in the above post.) It looked great, and will look great on all of them. So, that was decided. Until....I noticed that the tag on the dress did not have navy listed as a color.
So I'm retarded and didn't read the side info on the web...it doesn't come in navy. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. They have light blue as the blue option. Damn it all! I really like this dress....so how bad will it throw me to have the girls in light blue instead of navy? Hrm....wonder if FH will go for it (he has a passion for dark/navy blue). I think I should have posted this in the #*@!^% section.

Guess what? The bridal shop called the company for me, and they told them that I should be able to get it in navy. Woo hoo!!!! Now, granted the key word there is should, but I'll take it for now. And I will also keep the idea of light blue as a possibility, I was thinking about using it as a accent anyway. So yea!!!! I only have one BM that has to go in and be measured, and then we can order them. I love this dress. Lol.
