I am not sure what shade of blue yet, and the wedding is not for at least a year. We are just starting the planning and wanting to get ideas!!

I think it sounds very classy and sharp. I think any shade of blue would look good, it change how it all looks, but any of them would look good!!!

I think it will look great! What time of year are you getting married? In the winter, I think royal blue would look very regal (maybe that's why it is "royal" ) but if it's the spring or summer, light blue would look nice.

Welcome to Pash!!

I think the time of year would definitely be important, but also the feel you want...a navy blue would be very distinguished, while a bright cobalt blue would be more of a fun, spunky atmosphere...and then light powder blue would seem very delicate and spring-like...but then, I'm not sure I'd pair a light blue with black. Definitely potential for a striking look! And welcome...I'm brand new myself.

i think the colors together depending on the shade of blue might actually blend together too much... not only that, but when i see the words "black and blue" i think of a bruise lol. too many domestic violence classes at school i guess. But thats just my opinion. :O)

Yup. Get a shade of blue that will match the season.

I think a royal/saphire/cobalt shade would be best. I've always love the idea of any basic color with black and white.

I agree that with black and white, a navy or cobalt blue would be soo elegant!! But if you have a summer wedding I also think a light sky blue would be gorgeous!!
