17 PEOPLE!!! Yahoooo, The perfect size, the perfect people! EXCEPT...
Dave also has 4step brothers, Who obvisouly are NOT on this list! Aaron, Jordon,Kyle,Graham. We are close with Jordon and his Fiance, Now you can't very well invite them and not the other 3boys! Dave doesn't seen to have a problem with not having his step brothers there. And I personally feel this is COMPLETLY his decision!
I honestly neve knew making a guest list could possible be this hard. I know if we do not invite the 4 boys there is a GREAT chance that Lynn is going to be pi$$ed. How do you get around this?
We only have a small amount of money to work with...
Please don't think were bad people...
I always heard people say, "A wedding is not for the people getting married, but for the people that will be there" and that the day is never fully yours...
UGH...Any suggestions, What do you guys think of this?

I think that you should do whatever makes you and your FH happy. I agree that you probably couldn't invite 1 step-brother without the other 3, and if all the step-brothers have significant others, you are looking at an extra 8 people, which adds a lot to a list that is only 17 long.
In the end, if you and David are paying for the wedding/reception yourselves, it is your guest list to make. I would weigh how much extra money it will cost, increasing the size of the guest list by 8 people, etc. against how angry/upset it may make his stepmother or stepbrothers.
Good luck!! We went through many trials and tribulations with our guest list, and lots of disagreements (with family) about who to include, etc....
It will all work out in thd end!!

I agree it is Dave's choice to include the step brothers or not. If people are mad at first I think eventually it will blow over. Good Luck! It is nice to see that you are able to stick to your small guest list! It will be very nice!
