Question about my centerpieces
Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in a while but I have a question for ya. Okay some of you may remember but I am using these tin buckets for my farm wedding center pieces.

I was going to use daisies just like the pic but in different colors. Now I found a pic of flowers and colors the I LOVE so do you all think that these flowers will look okay in this tin bucket? I just want to make sure the tin bucket isn't to casual for the flowers, but I don't think it matters. But please be honest and give me some opinions!!

I don't think that is going to look bad, but if you want to make sure you can make a test, try it both ways and decide on which one you like the most.....

First, I think that the flowers in the 2nd pic might be too big for the tin cup
and second, I think the white flowers will look washed out if you put it in the tin can. (im just trying to picture the colors). I think a gold tin cup might compliment the white/cream colors more than the silver ones. Just my opinion

I think it's look great together. Kind of the colour scheme I have in my livingroom! (but with some black too) It'll be different that your first thoughts obviously, but I think it'll be more chic

I agree with Shaks. I think the flowers might be too big, and seem too neutral for a silver bucket. Adding a bright ribbon might make it a little better though. But definitely check if the flowers look too big, since they seem larger than the daisies.

Hi -- I was doing a little web surfing and found a gorgeous centerpiece in a tin bucket-looking thing at www.wiseweddingdesigns.com. I've looked at this lady's website several times, and really liked a few of her designs.

That looks pretty with the ivy hanging down. That definitely fixes the "washed out" look

I think that brighter color flowers will look better. They wont feel as washed out as I think the white and cream colors will. But a test run will always work!

If you wanted to paint the bucket a bright or bold color, that might work also. I'm thinking like the crackle paint effect? But I also like the photo on the site Ohiobride posted.

I don't see any problem with your idea, especially if you add a ribbon to the bucket. I can see what Shaks means about the size of the flowers but it should be okay if the bucket is big enough. If I were you I would definitely give it a try to see what it looks like before you decided for sure.

This arrangement also looks nice-A bit more classy with the long stemmed vases and the floral arrangement... Just a suggestion!I find that it gives the whole place a different look! The ones you chose are nice too-to have a clearer picture, try them out, take pictures and compare.

I am a wedding floral designer. What look are you going for? The colorful gerbera daisies in the tin pail make for a more casual gardeny look. Changing to the sahara roses (champagne color), creams and greens makes it a more elegant arrangement. The colors are not the least bit washed out against the tin pail. If you want to add a little more color ask you florist about white calcynia heather. It is a beautiful filler that will add a little bit of pink to it. The ivy will also look beautiful in this arrangement. Good luck!

I agree about the mood of the tin pail- I think it's great for a more casual country wedding and calls for more casual flowers. The roses etc...are more formal.
I think the tin bucket is perfect on it's own and needs no embellishment. I think it would look great with daisies; just regular white daisies; maybe white and yellow ones.
