Think I have decided on colors and decor!!!
I think that I have decided on our colors. A burgundy/wine with gold. This dress (not sure if I want the dress, but like the color) along with gold accents. I will have white tableclothes and gold table runners (hand-sewn by myself, then I will sell on E-Bay). But, this is the color of the dresses for my BM, still have not picked out the style:

Then, the place comes with tables and white chairs, so I will just add some color with the gold tableclothes. I was thinking of either the large dark pink calla lillie bouquet for myself (in this style, I love the long stems and the arm bouquet, but with callas instead of daisies):
And then something like this (except much much smaller and more simple (definitely not cascading) for the bridesmaids, just with a few small asiatic lillies and greenerie, maybe some berries or something around it):

Then this is a pic of my reception/ ceremony site:
With lots and lots of candles inside to set the mood for our jazz band. Any more suggestions??? Or am I completely color illiterate and need some advice??? I am open to any ideas!!

Beautiful! I love that dress, very elegant but simple - right up my alley.

I think the burgundy and gold will go very well together.
Is your reception at night? I love candlelight and think it sounds great for your reception, but your reception site looks very bright and airy, and even a ton of candlelight during the day may not set the type of mood you are going for.
If it is in the evening though, I think it sounds great!!!
ETA: You could also find burgundy candles pretty easily to burn, to add an extra splash of color to the tables.

I love the ideas! I really love your location! Your flowers are going to be absolutely beautiful. I love that they are a little unique. Great choices. I would ask if you could do a sample run with what you want to decorate with to see if you need any additional decoration items!

i like the burgandy/white/gold combo as well. and also second the notion of evening candlelight as opposed to daytime candles. but the site looks fantastic!!! and i LOVE the arm-long stem bouquet idea... i've never seen one like that.

Beautiful choices It will be very elegant, yet relaxed at that site.

Oh yes, there will be candles candles candles, the only problem is that they all have to be enclosed in glass, I like to group different sizes together on a platter with flowers around them... So, I will have to figure something else out... Any ideas??

What about if you still did platters but just with the hurricane cylinders around them? You could still group candles in various heights and sizes, and you could drop flowers or flower petals around the edges, both inside and outside the hurricane glass.
I've seen hurricane cylinders (basically glass tubes) that you set on platters, instead of the hurricane vases that you place the candles inside.

That could work, I have been checking out the sales at Michaels and AC Moores, and I get a 40% one item coupon every other week. It is just finding the time to get out there (it is a 20 minute commute, I live downtown). But, I have a year to gather.
