Anniversary card from DH
I just HAD to share the homemade anniversary card that DH gave to me for our 1 year.
He used a picture from our ceremony where we're holding hands and looking at each other, and he makes it into what looks like a drawing on the computer. Then this is what he wrote inside:
Memories of that magical day we became husband and wife may fade with time
Daily routines may occasionally dull the shine of our wedded bliss
And you and I will probably become worn and rough around the edges as the years go by
However...
The shimmer of your eyes,
The light of your smile,
The comfort of your touch,
And the ring of your laughter
Are timeless and will always be among the most wonderful and pricelss things in the world for me.
And one year ago today I became your husband
and became the luckies man alive.
I love you always.
I swear that I'm the luckiest woman to have him. He's just so caring and affectionate. Yet still a man's man. Ok ok, I'll stop now.
