Default What color should the flowergirl wear?

Ok, my decision is made. I will wear a red gown.... My BM/GM will wear platinum and my Groom will wear a red vest/tie. My daughter is my flowergirl... So what do you ladies think? I found a few dresses here
http://www.thebridalshop.com/bonny_f...irls/4607I.htm but the color will be red or http://www.thebridalshop.com/mori_le...rgirls/582.htm or http://www.flowergirldressforless.co...roduct_Count=0 or lastly http://www.davidsbridal.com/flowergi...6&prodgroup=11

I guess I just need advice on if she should wear white or white with a red trim since no one else is wearing white

The first one is my favorite -- I would put her in red, since I think the FG usually matches the bride, not the bridesmaids. But, I think either red or platinum would be lovely!

Thanks, that was my first choice too, you just need someone else's opinion sometimes. Most of my MOH and BM live in NC and I move to GA to be with FH, so its hard to get their advice. I really appreciate you all.

How old is your daughter? Dress #1 seems a bit overpowering for a very young child. I would have her wear red, platinum, or white with red accents rather than an all white dress.

My daughter is 7. And tall, thats why i thought dress one would be perfect.

I like the first or second one... I like how they are gathered. I originally wanted the gathered look for my own gown, but it just made me look fat, so maybe I am partial to the gathered look.

I like dress one, but I noticed that dress 4 comes in platinum and david's bridal will usually order the sash in any color you want... so platinum with a red sash sound great to me.

I'm going against the grain, I actually like 3 and 4 best.

I think either would look good in either red or platnum. You may want to put her in both dresses and see which one matches her skin tone best

I can already answer that. Its the red. Red really brings her out. I just havent seen very many red flowergirl dresses that rock. Most are really plain or look really cheap

I think she would look good in a platinum dress, to match the bridal party. The only thing I can think of about her (and you) wearing red that seems like it might not work is if the reds of the dresses don't match.....that is a personal thing that bugs me though, so if something like that doesn't bug you (or the dress colors are from the same designer or something), then go for it.

Welcome to Pash!

I have heard many of the other girls say this one here about red. It is a very hard color to match. So, do you want her in red if it will match the red you are wearing?

I really do want her in red. Since she is my daughter I really want her to look fab like Mom. I do want the reds to match. Of course I wouldnt have it any other way. So if all else fails. The place that I am flying to NY to go to has dresses and every color with a trim. Ill just get her a platinum dress with the red trim... But we will see

I like choices 1 or 2, I think the last one would clash with your colors. The
3rd didn't blow my hair back or anything.

I love the first Dress!! Maybe if you are nervous about the reds matching and I would be, you might be able to find the dress in another color by a different manufacturer!

I would put her in platinum and maybe include a red sash to coordinate with you. I am not a fan of the "mini-bride" look; I think that the FG should be in the same color as the bridesmaids.

I hate to say it , but yes , it's going to be next to impossible to find a dress like that in red ....it's gorgeous btw ! the only other alternative is to have something similar made.
Good luck hun !
