Hi ladies,
I thought I'd sneak back on after about 11 months off the boards! I barely recognize the place, but I see that several of the "regulars" from a year ago are still here.
A very quick update: The wedding (Nov. 26, 2005) was WONDERFUL, beautiful, fabulous, fun. I sort of fell off the Pash world (well, Pash had really just started when I left, so I still think of it as Bliss), though, because post-wedding was the honeymoon, Christmas, settling in, then we moved, I got a new job, and then another one...things got totally insane, and I guess I just got out of the habit. I was completely addicted to this place leading up to the wedding, and then I didn't look at it for a couple of months. But I've found myself missing you guys and wondering how things are going--so many folks have had weddings and even babies! Congrats to all!
I can't let myself be on here as often as I used to, but I'm hoping to manage to pop on a few times a week. I'm starting to sift through old threads, but I think I'm never really going to be able to get through a year's worth of stuff, so if any of you folks who remember me want to give brief summaries of life in the past year, I'd love to know about it!

We've missed you!
I'm not sure where to start. I've had a couple back surgeries in the last year (sept. & april), Mike and I bought a home and we have another black kitty (a girl). I think that's about it!
So glad to see you back!

Yay we missed you!!!
Well, I cancelled my wedding, and now have begun planning it for the same time period but a year later. I'm graduating in April, so DJ and I will be looking for our own apartment then as we moved into his dad's house last year to save money. That's about it on my side at least!

Hey November!! Good to see you again!! I fell off for a few months post wedding too. I think I was just all wedding'd out.
I'm expecting a baby in January! We're very excited. You'll have to go to The Starting a Family area to see my belly pics (if you're interested of course). Not that much else is new here. Oh, and DH and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary over the weekend.

Welcome back! It has been a long time!
New here, well not much. Almost done with my degree, we adopted a black lab in Jan (Carl died last Oct.). Started a new job. Have been working on some home projects, becoming more and more addicted to Pash, and finding out why we are having trouble TTC. Not much else......... BORING IN FACT!
Bob and I did celebrate 2 yrs in early October. Went on a weekend away, only for Bob to be sick most of our off time together!

I just realized that I welcomed you back, but didn't give an update on my life.
I got a promotion at work at the end of 2005 and love my new job (same career field). My oldest child started high school this year. I've been having some marital issues with my husband, but I'm confident that in the end, everything will work out like it's supposed to. And - I'm having a hysterectomy in a month.

Feb, I remember that you were considering another job in a different building and your husband was a little upset about it. I'm glad it is going well! I'm sorry to hear about the marital stuff. It sounds like you have a good attitude about it though, and I'm sure everything will work out like it should, as you say. But between the marital and the medical, I will definitely keep you in my thoughts!
