Where to add Champagne
I have hit a color dilema. I really want my colors to be red and champagne, but so far all I have is red.
My dress has red accents, and I am getting bridesmaids dresses to match the color. My mom suggested having champagne tops, and red bottoms, but I didn't like the way they looked.
We are ordering our flowers in bulk, and they only offer them in red. I guess we could add champagne flowers in, but I don't know of any champage colored flowers, or if my mom (who is paying for most of the wedding) would go for it.
Do you girls have any ideas on where or how I could add the champagne, or should I just get rid of it?

My friend had champagne and cream colored roses. I would add them to all the bouquets. You could also add champagne colored table runners, napkins, flowers around the cake, etc.

Depending on the dress the BMs could wear a champagne colored bow around their waist. It is usually best to have one color be more dominate than the other. You then can tie the champagne in with the flowers
I think this was one of your dress options if I remember correctly.
I would put the bow part on the back instead of in the front but I think it looks very nice!

Or you could look for champagne colored shawls for the girls to carry.

You could be the one in red and have the girls in the champagne. I wanted wine in my colors and that was my dress. My daughter ended up in wine but that was for her match mommy (somewhat). The BM could be in champagne and carry red flowers. Just an idea.

I like Leslee's ideas about the sash, and then tie it in with the tuxes in the same color. You could also tie the bouquets with a champagne colored bow. I like the idea of champagne or cream colored roses, just a few tied in with your red roses, maybe with some greenery around them so that it does not look too cookie cutter. Maybe put some champagne pearl clips in their hair or something like that would look nice as well. This ebay store has all kinds of faux pearl clips:
mini-stars
http://stores.ebay.com/mini-stars
or you can search others stores, online, magazines, etc.
Just an idea...
Also, if you want something other than roses, Sams Club and Costco offers cheap bulk flowers:
http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?catg=1539
http://www.costco.com/Common/Search....arch=1&topnav=
The online store does not give you the same options as if you go into a Sams (or Costco). I have an order sheet with about 100 different flowers and colors to choose from that I picked up from the store. They have cheap cream colored flowers such as Alstroemeria for about $35 for 90 stems!!!
Or:

http://www.flowerfarmstogo.com/s/hom...st.php?spx=146
I am considering with my mother doing my own bouquets and have a lot more sites that I am researching saved. If you want all of them, let me know, cause I have about a gazzillion. I like the Fillers - Hypericum on the last link to spice up the red roses a little bit...
Anyways, Good Luck!!

Just a quick suggestion --You could use champagne colored ribbons to tie your bouquets, and weave champagne-colored ribbon through any floral arrangements you might have.

Just going to give you heads up on the red. If you do a red dress and red flowers make sure they go together. Thats one thing I would of changed about my wedding. The guys had on red shirts with a red rose and I think it clashed after I looked at the pictures.

this was going to be what I suggested. Keep the red flowers (for mom) and tie them with champagne.
Ribbon is easy to work with as an accent

We actually dicusees that today
We may have all the bridesmaids wear the red dresses and have Aimee (my MOH where chanpagne) It really depends on how she looks in it though, she is very light shkinned.

We are going with white flowers since the dresses are really hard to match up

Rachel,
I am seriously considering going through Costco or Sams as well. My Mom and I can do it the day before and keep them in the fridge... It is so much cheaper than a florist... And, they have a great selection!!! Good luck!!

I did go to check out cakes today, and we are thinking we will be adding champainge decoration onto the white icing. It will be subtle, but it's one step closer to my color.
