Fake and real
I am having real flowers. BUT I like this idea
They have styrofoam balls at wal-mart and I could get fake flowers and stick them all over and hang them from the gazebo. Would it be ugly to have everything real except this? No one will be really close to it to notice, I don't think.

I think that is a BEAUTIFUL idea and you can get some pretty realistic looking silks -- no one will be able to tell from a distance.
 from me!

I say go for it! I love the idea, and I bet that no one will be able to tell that they're not fresh flowers.

I say go for it as well - plus, you can keep them after (or give them to others) as keepsakes!

Are you using daisies for your bouquet or for the tables? I think the balls look stunning with roses but would look pretty with stephanotis, too, and that would go with white daisies, I think.

I like the roses too. I like something like this for the BM ( maybe in a diff. color)

And something like this for me(diff. color)
And then light pink daisies for the centerpieces and then the daisies like this

But will the florist be able to help me with matching colors with latte, pink and brown?

Those look so beautiful! I think your wedding is going to be so gorgeous and I'm excited already! The florist should definitely be able to help. If those are the flowers you get, I'd go ahead and use silk roses on those hanging kissing balls as long as you like them. That would go perfectly, IMO.

I just had a friend get married in July and she had all real flowers except the ones hanging from the trees. And nobody knew, even me! I found out afterward.
Those flowers and other ideas you've chosen are beautiful.

I LOVE those kissing balls! silk flowers I think are the way to go. there are so many flowers on each ball that I think it would even look better if they were silk because then they will look a little more uniform and you could make them your self. I love the $1 store and I know they have some great looking silk flowers, at least out here they do. you could make them in all different shades of pink to tie in the all different shades of pink that you were planning on using.
