What theme do your son and future daughter-in-law want?

You can use any color you want. Fall or winter, colors don't have to match the season anymore.

I don't think it would be too early for a winter theme. I think of winter starting right after Thanksgiving. The nice thing about it being in November though is that you can still do fall-ish type stuff if you want to. You don't even have to orient the wedding around a season. You can choose a color scheme and plan around that. You can also have a theme using a particular flower or greenery. Some of the popular wedding colors this year for fall and winter are:
Fall: Emerald
Burgundy
Chocolate
Winter: Black
Plum
Navy
Are your son & daughter-in-law getting married this November?

DO what ever they feel like maybe they would prefer another theme besides a season, maybe a Vegas theme or something else.

Is there a way to combine the two seasons? I'm thinking centerpieces/archways with autumn leaves, then covered with spray snow (that white stuff you spray in windows to look like snow). Not too heavy - a light coating to give the impression of "first snowfall."
