Question Ebay Wedding Dress

Has anyone seen the wedding dresses on ebay where they say they will make it to your custom size. I know the dresses say they are coming from China but I was wondering if anyone has done this? Are the factories the dresses are made in ethical?

I'm sure someone on here did that... I'd want to order it really early just as a precaution...

YES! I tried that and it was a complete disaster! It was made with cheap materials and it wasn't cut right!!! But luckily I paid with PAYPAL and received my money back!!!! I can't remember the seller's ID, though! That was just my experience.....I would check the feedback and try to email some of the buyers from their feedback and then go from there! It took a month to receive the dress! Good Luck! PM me if you have any questions!

I did.
I bought from seller xhma. I had it in under 45days. Once she told me it had shipped, it was to my house in like 2-3 days.

I loved my dress and paid less than $200 for it with some custom touches. I had a corset back put in and am a plus size.

The corset did not lay as nice as the ones I tried on in stores. The material was nice (very nice, and better than I expected), but a heavier material probably would have laid nicer.

I had my measurments professionaly done (but still sent measurements in the waist and bust area that were smaller than what we measured), but lost weight and had to have the dress altered. I had it hemmed a bit, because I ended up with a smaller heel, had the bust taken in and a bustle done. I had it done by a local seamstress and it still cost me over $100.

If you go this route. I would recommend KNOWing what shoes you are going to wear or at a bare min. what heel height you are going to wear so you can get the length right.

All of that said. I would do it again
I also admit to being pretty low key about things. I'm not a huge nit picker (not directed at anyone) just I know that some brides want perfection.

jaw dropping

I had a friend that actually ordered 3 different wedding dresses on E-Bay until she found one that she liked. Her second one actually was a dress custom made for her from China... She never received it. I am not sure who the seller is, but just based on her bad luck, I would not reccommend it. Check feedback, maybe it was an accident, though.

I bought one of e-bay for our registry office wedding (yes we are already married) I paid £9 ($20) for it and it was fine, my hoop actually cost more than the dress and I did customise it a bit, it had big flowers all over it which I took off. but then again I didnt really care what it looked like because we were always going to have our NZ wedding and the registry office wedding was more of a formality than anything! I thought it was fine but if was for my 'actual' wedding I wouldnt have worn it, and it did smell of moth-balls! I'll try and find a pic of it somewhere for you.

I say go for it but keep in the back of your mind that you may still need to get something else - I think with E-bay its really luck of the draw you could be lucky and get something awesome or then again you could be really unlucky and get something hideous!

Breezy I cant believe your dress came from e-bay - it was beautiful!
