How do you wear your set?
This is for everyone, since I assume those who aren't married yet already know what they're going to do.
Do you/will you wear your engagement ring and your wedding ring all the time? I plan on wearing both, but some people look at me like I'm nuts when I say that. So, what do you/will you do? Will you ever take your rings off, and if so, under what circumstances?

When i was engaged, i wore my ring ALL the time except: when i was showering or going into the pool, at the gym, when i put lotion or wash my hands or dishes
Other than that, I wouldve/will plan on wearing both at all times when the time comes. Whats the point of spending all that money on an e-ring if youre not gonna wear it. Unless your job makes it difficult

I can't wear mine all the time right now, due to the pregnancy. But i plan on wearing them both all the time. Unless my stone starts hurting the baby. The only time I take it off is to shower or dishes or if I am battering foods.

I don't take my ring off unless I'm putting lotion on, cleaning without rubber gloves, and preparing food like dough, or foods like hamburger. I don't want any gucky stuff to get into the settings.
or when I get it cleaned..

I wear both mine all the time, I havent taken my wedding ring off since Damon put it on my finger on our wedding day! Some people will think thats gross!
When we have babies I probably wont be able to wear my engagement ring as it is quite a high setting and I wouldnt want to hurt the baby with it!

I plan on wearing mine all the time. The only time I take my e-ring off is when I am mixing food by hand, putting lotion on, or cleaning with some harsh stuff.

I'm the same way! I only wear my cheap wedding band when I work nights. It don't have no stone or any thing so I can't get it caught on any thing or any one.

I wear my e-ring most of the time - not in the shower, doing dishes, cooking or painting/gardening or anything like that. I was wearing my ring in the shower, but it got dingy looking very quickly that way. My jeweler told me that soap scum (from the shower) is the #1 thing that makes your ring look dirty. Since my FH spent so much time & money on the ring, I want to take care of it and keep it looking nice - which means I have to compromise with my desire to wear it all the time!
However, since my job requires me to occasionally work at construction sites, factories, disaster areas and hazardous waste sites I had a "fake" replicate of my e-ring made to wear when I'm working in the field. It's also a little smaller than my "real" ring so I can wear it under work gloves if necessary. I don't think I would actually wear it to a work site, but since these jobs can take me away from home for 1-6 months, I wanted to have something to take with me - and I feel better about leaving a $200 fake in the hotel room than my real ring. I just feel naked without it.
We are still debating over our wedding bands. My e-ring is a little large, and I'm not sure a band (even a custom one) would be comfortable to wear with it b/c my fingers are so small. I am considering wearing my wedding ring on my right hand, which I hear is the custom in Germany? (which is wear my grandparents are from, so it would be kinda appropriate). But in any case, I do plan on wearing it as much as I wear my e-ring now.

I have a band to put on with my e-ring and plan to wear both.
Like Em, I may wear just the band for a while when we start our family because I don't want to scratch our babies.
I leave my e-ring on all the time and only take it off to clean it and once when I was painting.

That's an understatement!!!!
I wear both rings most of the time. I take them off to shower, do dishes, wash my hands, put on lotion, etc.... anything that would "gunk it up."
As for scratching babies... I can say from experience that my e-ring has scratched Natalie a few times. So good idea to not wear it after you have a baby.

Eventually I'm going to do the same (have them soldered together). I just haven't taken them to the jeweler yet!

I take my e-ring off to shower, put lotion, clean, gym, while I'm cooking, and when I'm going to sleep. I don’t sleep with any type of jewelry, so every night before going to bed I take my ring off and put it back to the little box. Oh and when I’m home, without going anywhere I don’t wear it because I don’t wear any jewelry either if I’m just home. If I’m going out, before going out the door I put my ring back on. I will probably do the same thing with my wedding ring.

I wear both of mine all the time, except for the main reasons others posted above. My e-ring doesn't sit very high, so I'm not worried about scratching a baby (should that ever happen).
I did make a decision recently to not get them soldered together. DH had the thought (after the wedding, of course) of making my grandmother's ruby ring into a set for me (it's a big honkin' rock, lol). Had this been thought of sooner, I'd have it now. But, we will probably do it for like a five or ten year anniversary thing, or whenever we renew our vows. So when that happens, I will just wear the e-ring on my right hand.
Plus, my band looks all kinds of puny without the e-ring with it.

I work at a pool so I can't wear any gold so I will not be wearing either to work but I wear it all the time but at work. I should take it off for puting on lotion and stuff but I dont.

i had to take my e-ring off in my pregnancy, but am now wearing it again, but i realized the other day one of the scratches on shea's face wasn't from his fingernails...i'd done it w/ my ring!! poor baby! i only take my e-ring off now for baking bread (i make my own) and when i eventually get back into pottery.

I used to wear it 24/7, but now my work has a new safety rule - NO rings or bracelets, for fear of ripping off fingers/hands...I have to take off my ring. It's a rule that started literally this week. I'm not fond of it, but seeing as I am the Safety & 5S Specialist for my dept. (making sure everything is clean and tidy as well as safe - if something isn't I can go to the boss and say "Look...") I *have* to follow this rule and set an example. I'm currently wearing it on a necklace at work, then it's back on my finger after work.

I wear mine at all times, even in the shower and while doing dishes. But mine does have a warrenty for the life time of the ring. If it isn't it brand new condition they will fix or replace it for FREE. So I'm not really all thet worried. I'm afraid I'll loose it if I take it off, or I'll forget to put it back on.
When I get married i plan on wearing both of them at all times. I'll proboly have them saudered together.

I snuck into the jewellers to pay off Terrys wedding band and I snuck a peak at my band.. its sooo beautiful.. They won't let me solder (sp??) them together before the wedding.. In case the photographer wants to take pictures of just the bands.. But from past experience on my other wedding set I will definitely get it done afterwards..
I will always wear both together.. more BLING!

I wear both together except when I shower or bathe. When I do this, I take the opportunity to soak my rings in jewellery cleaner so that we both come out clean and shiny

I keep both of mine on all the time except when I'm using my hands to mix something sticky or mushy. I think I may have had to take them off for awhile when I was pregnant with my daughter but I felt somewhat naked without it!
