Bachelorette Party
Hi Ladies, and Steve!
Just wanted to apologize for not responding to any other posts except my own, lol. I wish I could explain all that I have on my mind, I can't, but wanted you to know I'm still reading!
I have a few college friends coming into town for my friend's bachelorette party tonight. We're doing dinner, then a band and then lord knows what after that. If I remember my camera, I'll take pictures.
Love you guys and have a great weekend!

Lucky You!
Oh, I wish we had had the opportunity to have a bachelorette party when I got married several years ago. Hope you have a great time. :-)

You're too funny! No one did the band that I know of, but I could be wrong, lol.
What a night. Everyone gathered at my house, had a couple drinks and then picked up the bride. We went to dinner in Saratoga and it was sooo good! Our designated driver (DD) actually picked up the check before it was even brought to our table. He's the fiance of one of my college friends and he's such a great guy. We all bitched at him for a while but he wouldn't take any money from us. Dinner was not cheap - the least expensive item was $19...
After dinner we went to an Irish Pub to hear the band and they rocked... They of course pointed out the bride because she had a flashing penis pinned to her shirt, lol. Oh - and guess who showed up there? The girl who I just "broke up" with. She sat by the door the entire time and just pouted. At one point she cornered one of my friends to ask how she was doing and then said: "You better go back to the table before Heather gets mad that you're talking to me." My other friend walked by as she was saying this and told her to F*** Off!
Through out the night one girlfriend in particular kept buying shots and it got to be too much, know what I mean? We all slowed down a bit except for her. Sure enough when we left the bar, our DD had to literally carry her. A friend and myself tried holding her up at first but she was dead weight. She threw up in the DD's brand new truck on the way home and had to be carried into her house. She then started bawling her eyes out. Her husband was there and promised to take care of her and make sure she was okay. He came over about 8 this morning to make sure the DD's truck was cleaned out. He was going to take it to have it cleaned, but it was already taken care of. That was cool of him to come over like that.
The bride had a really good time too, so we were happy about that.
When we all woke up this morning we hung out for a while and chatted in our PJs. It felt like college again because we all lived together for a while and it has been a long time since we've been able to do that. Lots of good memories.
So that's it! Hopefully I'll have some photos within a week.

Sounds like an awesome time!! I'm glad everyone had fun, not so glad your girlfriend got sick in the truck. And I'm glad your other friend told your ex-friend to f* off. Lol, sounds like something I'd do. Can't wait to see pics!
