Default forgo Save the Date?

We are planning an out of town wedding that is just 3 months away. Is it okay to forgo Save-the-Date cards and send invitations at this time with details about the location, hotels, and airfare?

Most of the time you send out Invites 6 to 8 weeks ahead of time. For this I wouldn't send them out no sooner then 10 weeks. Welcome to PASH! Can't wait to hear about your plans.

Usually, save-the-dates are sent out 6 to 12 months before a wedding. Since yours is only three months away, I would forego the save-the-dates and just include any necessary information in the invitation envelope.

We decided to skip save the dates and just made phone calls to our guests that need to travel (which is a total of like, four).

Since your wedding is so close, the save the dates won't make much of a difference. Just send the invites 8 weeks out as you normally would. Most people can make arrangements with two months notice.

We didn't do save-the-dates either, and we set ours a year ahead. We had already spread important info via word of mouth (date, general location, etc.). We did send our invitations early though - about three months ahead. The invitations had hotel info in them.
