I had bells. I had special bells for each set of parents. My twin boy cousins who were Seniors in high school were running around ringing them in each other ears and the younger brothers. And some people want no kids at their wedding and this was not even young children. he he he

Those cards are cute but the bells don't really ring so if you're going for a functional product, it's not it. If you're going for the cute effect, then you're golden.

We used those and they were cute to have all over the tables. Wembley is right though, they don't really ring loudly, if at all. We got them b/c we didn't want people tapping on glasses for us to kiss.
You know what - I think I have maybe 50 to 75 leftover if anyone wants them. I can't remember if I sent them to someone though. DG - Did I send these little cards to you with the tulle and other stuff? If not, I'll dig them out of storage and post a note in the classified ad if I have them. (I wouldn't want anything for them, I would just be happy they could get some use.)

Yeah, I can see you point and how they wont ring very loud...HMMMMM....
Same for us Heather, we would get them so that the glass wear is not tapped on when people want us to kiss....
Awwww, they're so cute!!!
I would love to know if you will be placing them is in classifieds, if someone esle hasn't already snatched them up, I'll be keeping an OPEN for them!

My cousin had them at her wedding and we ended up tapping the bells on the glasses because they didn't actually make enough noise for the bride and groom to hear. Some people actually rang theirs all together and it kind of worked though.

I went to a wedding recently where they had these cards and little bells at each place, but then had larger bells that actually ring on each table as well.
Just an idea.

That would be fun and cute to have bigger bells on tables to ring. I like that idea to either add to the cards or just have the bigger bells.

I was at a wedding once and they had a big theme of western. They had a big cow bell on each of the tables with a note that said something about kissing. Can't remember what it said! It was really cute for the type of wedding they had.

Everyone had a little bell with the card, and then there were two bells on each table (they had rectangular tables, so one on each side of the centerpiece).

You got it Jayme. You have me thinking now... I also have a TON of Save the Date cards left over. I was an idiot and ordered double what I needed for some reason. Stress? Anxiety? Going overboard for the hell of it? I'll never know...
Maybe someone could peel off our information and create new stickers to place on the magnet? If you use Superglue I bet you wouldn't even have to tear off our information.
My garage is scary and Mike's not home so I'll have to look for stuff tomorrow during the day or when he gets home on Thursday. I'm such a wussy.

Here's a couple photos from our Head Table. You can just see the favors (candles in tulle) on the left side but I don't think the bell cards were out yet. We also did Table Names instead of numbers, and put a framed story on each table as it pertained to our favorite places or to the people sitting at that table.

Wow, I would appreciate anything LOL!!! You rock girl!!!!
My mom had a good question...Do your Save the Date cards need to match your wedding invitations?
Jayme
Another Question, How far in advance do you send out save the date cards before the weding?

They don't have to match, but they should be the same "style." For example, if you're going for classy invitations, you shouldn't send out casual STD's. Make sense?
STD's can go out 9 months to a year before the wedding, or even closer to when you figure out the date. Generally you should send out STD's as soon as you know the date and the city, and it's within a year-ish.

Ian won't let me have bells at our wedding, he says they would get too annoying
I had a friend who had them at hers, and she did admitt they drove her a little crazy after a while. I still think they are cute though, I think you should deffinatly go for it!!!

My STDs were more casual than my invites, but not too casual if that makes sense? I took them down a couple notches from "elegant" but used the same typeface/font that my invites had.
I sent the STDs 4 months out. The only reason I even got them out that early is b/c I posted on here asking when they should go out. Everyone responded with NOW! I think I took the next day off work to get them printed and out.
So I'm a bad example. 9 to 12 months is the guideline.
My first shower (from SIL & MIL) was in January (wedding in April), the second thrown by my MOH and BMs was at the beginning of March. In my opinion, you want to have the shower within 3 months of the wedding. A lot of things on your registry can be discontinued and there's that sense of excitement among all the women that it's just around the corner.
