I am putting together a small "favor/gift" package for the children who are attending our wedding. The young kids (under 10) will get either wedding coloring books, colorforms or feltkids, Pez bride or groom dispensers. (things that may keep them busy for a short time). However, there are 2 teenagers attending - age 13. Anyone have any suggestions on a "favor/gift" for this age group? Both are boys.

Hi nurciuoli,
This is a tough one! What about the wedding favours you are giving out to the adult guests? Would that be suitable for these boys?
Otherwise, the only other things I thought of were chocolates/candies, or a book from a favourite author.
Or, how about giving them a disposable camera each? Depending on their personalities, they may enjoy taking photos... that could also keep them pretty busy.

Hi Holly
I agree, it is a tough one. The favors for the adults are candles - not really something the boys would care for. (and I'm trying to keep candy to a minimum, so the kids aren't bouncing off the walls!). But I like your idea about the camera's - we were going to put disposable cameras on the tables. But I think I might give them each a "job" with a camera, so they can take pictures. A book might be good too, they both have different tastes, but 2 different books shouldn't be too hard. Thanks for the help!
I'm open to any other suggestions! Thanks to all.

what a about a mini kit? (if you don't know what they are they are little toys that come in a box with a mini-book) like a slinky, yo-yo or they have these little magnetic bendy guys that come in a kit. you can get them at little independent gift/toy stores.
ooh! and the new harry potter book comes out in june...everyone loves harry potter!

Hi Amanda, thanks for the suggestions. I haven't seen the mini kits, but they sound very interesting. I'll do some hunting on the internet for them. Alas, my wedding is June 1st, so too early for Harry Potter (but the new book is on MY list!). Thanks again.
