I would have had a if people had done that to my car, unless they were also the ones to unwrap it. But, at least it's not shoe polish all over the windows. (BTW, my car was less than a year old when I got married. I didn't want anything to happen to it.) The last thing I wanted to do after my wedding/reception was spen an hour trying to get into my car. Was it horrible to undo?
The pics are great! I can't wait to see more.

Not necessarily the bride's car, but the getaway car. Some people use shoe polish and write "Just Married" and other stuff on the windows. I've also heard of stuffing the car full of newspaper or styrofoam packing peanuts so that the couple can't get in. I had heard of plastic wrapping the car like Indigo's, but never seen it before. And, there's always the tying things to the bumper trick. I'm sure there are a bunch of other pranks as well, but those are the ones I hear about most.

I think that's a tradition linked to some type of superstation, but I don't know which one (usually, it's just empty tin cans).
We got clever - out limo wasn't coming back for us until after the reception, so no one had a chance to mess with it!
Love the pics Indigo!

AHHHHHHH - duh!!! I have heard about the empty cans one before, but none of the other! I think the story behind it is so that you scare away any evil spirits or something like that!

YUP it is! It's an old tradition, that's rooted in England, or early colonial times, I'm not sure. I'll look it up when I come back from my hearing aid appointment, I have a book on wedding traditions somewhere...
