Default How do I tell people about my websights?

I am getting ready to send out our Save the date announcements. I have two questions before i do.

#1.) Is it ok to send links to a websight in your STD Cards?

#2.) I have 2 websights. One sent me complimentary cards to send to guests, but it just takes you to weddingchannel.com, and if they don't know what they are looking for, it may be a little overwhelming for guests to find the websight. The other doesn't offer anything like that at all.
My idea for this was to print out web addresses to the direct links for the sights and tape them to the back side of the complimenatry cards weddingchannel sent me. I was thinking I could had write them, but I am affraid with writing that many, I may end up messing up the addresses.

Is this to tacky?

I could easilly make you new little cards if you'd like. Would only take me about 10 mins. Then you could have both the addresses on one page (which I think would look neater than taping one to the back.

All you'd have to do is print them out & cut them to size. I just printed mine on normal paper & put them in with my invitations.

Anyway PM me if you'd like me to give it a go

I just started my wedding website a week ago (speaking of-thanks for the shout out on my guestbook girl! ) and you would be amazed at how fast word of mouth is spreading. I told a few key people and have already had over 50 hits this past week! I think that between word of mouth and your idea about including the little cards, everything will be covered!

I don't mean to be rude by this, but make you sure spell web site correctly. Web site is normally written as Web Site or web site, but it is becoming more common in technological publications as "website". (one word, not capitalized) Same with E-mail, now becoming common to use "email".

I made up business sized cards and put them in with our invitations. I didn't hear anyone complain about it, but I also didn't hear anyone say anything about the site. But I think it'd be ok.

2 ideas:
1) have the web site printed on your Save the Dates
2) ours offers a newsletter type emailing, you can email everyone that you have e mail addresses for a newsletter with STD info and to stay tuned for details.

I was thinking about putting them in with my invitation, I still may I don't really know yet. But I figured I would put them in the STD cards for family members and frinds who are far away, so they can have the updates.

I am printing my own STD cards, I may be able to just print the sights on them. Why didn't I think of that? I don't know if there will be enough room, I'll probobly have to reformat them. But hopefully it will work.

I may also be able to print my own buisness cards with the sights as well. I am computer stupid, but I have time to try and figure it out.

Thanks for all the help.
