New Member...
I'm not sure if I should be posting an introduction here or some where else.. but looks like its going to be here...
Terry proposed to me on May 6 (on one knee).. We have been together almost 4 years... both of us previously married with awful marriages... We both work for a trucking company and Terry owns his own semi.. so he is on the road quite abit...
We were just going to elope to Las Vegas but decided that we wanted our family and kids to be present..
We are getting married on March 31/07 at a country inn...
I have learned so much already from this forum on "Second Time Brides" and bottom line is.... this is our first time getting married to each other...
My dress is...
but the colour is
my ring is beautiful
my daughter is my MOH... we are having a ceremony with a supper served afterwards..
no dj or cake... being very frugal... still having flowers, invitations, photographer...
but still being the wedding we want... as this is the man I'm going to spend the rest of my life with....
I am so glad to find this forum and I'm off to look around ...

Welcome to Pash, your ring is similar to mine--- but I LOVE the "forever" part on yours!!! AWESOME!
Sounds like your wedding plans are under way, we love pics and details
We're being budget wise too. We got our cake from a local supermarket (supermarket). Will serve well over 70 people for less than $70 and is a traditional wedding cake with 3 layers!! Don't give up something you want due to budget, there are usually ways to get it

They discounted my dress by $50 since I took the one off the rack so that covers the alterations ...
both wedding bands have been bought during a tax free weekend..
I am making my own invitations
I have a friend making the 2 bouquets and 4 boutineers so cost is low...
minister is booked... inn is booked
just trying to find the "affordable" head piece still
divorce certificate just arrived.. wooohooooo !!!
going to have my hair professional done and treat myself for the wedding day...
whew... I'm on vacation right now and getting lots done...

What kind of headpiece are you looking for? Veil, tiara, combs, or do you even know yet?

no veil... a tiara with purple on it would be nice... I have just placed a bid on ebay for one and I'm not bidding any higher.. Will know in a couple days if I win it or not...
