I FINALLY Got to Try on Dresses - Add On - I added a poll
I am re-posting my former thread and adding a poll, since I got more of a mixed response than I anticipated. If you posted on my last thread please feel free to vote on this poll or post again. Thanks and here it is again. . . .
I have a lot of pictures so this is gonna take 3 posts. I apologize, swear I tried on about 20 dresses today ut there are some picks of my top 5
I look horrible in most of them, my mom kept taking pics of me with our warning me first, and I really don't mean to sound vain, but the camera squished me down, and I'm actually thinner and taller than what these show. They all have color accents, I tried some solid white dresses on but didn't like them as much as the ones with color (Dark Red will be the final color).
#1.) This is my favorite so far, it has a Sweet Heart Neckline, and the way the color over my tummy lays it reminds me of a heart (I tried it on in Blue, but the dress I buy will be in Red like below), and the back is a lot nicer than the pic shown the ribbons run all the way down the train, so I am adding a webpic to show effect

#2.) I really like this one too. It has a sequin ribbon that borders the front, and then X-Crosses on the back and goes down the train (the zipper was broken so we had to clip it together)

#3.) I like this one a lot too, of course, but I'm not sure if the train may be loo long.

And more.....

She's not done yet. She'll probably add the poll after she posts all the pics.

And Another Dress
#4.) This is another one that would be in Red and not light blue. It has really pretty embroidery on the front and back that the camera did not capture, so I am adding 2 more webpics to show it (and the color I WANT)

and More. . .

And The Last Dress
#5.) LAST ONE!!! This a plain white dress we added a red sash to add color, the dress it's self is much prettier than the camera picked up. I tried on veil with red accents as well so I am adding it too. I love the price tag hanging off my head.

I voted for #4. #3 is beautiful, but I would have had problems with it getting in my way while dancing. Just something to consider. How would it bustle? Or, would you have to do the whole wrist strap thing? That could get heavy.

This is really tough... I love 3 & 4
I voted for 4, and I love it a lot. But the detailing along the red part of 3 is lovely...
ETA: In #4: does the red version have a different colour of embroidery than the blue version? I was looking at the photos again & I can't really see the detailing in that photo, but you can see it really well in the red one

I really do love #3 as well, but I don't know if it is too formal for where we are getting married, here are some images of the venue, cuz I can't decribe it very well.
We are getting married at the Community House at the park (#1), we want to get married on the Varanda of the Comm House (#2), over looking the lake(#3,4) if the weather is nice, if not we wil get married inside(#5), infront of the double doors looking over the lake.
#1.) #2.) #3.) #4.) #5.)
If you guys think this dress would look OK in this setting (I honestly have no clue, I am a terrible judge of these things), I will seriously consider it. I just thought that maybe the venue would give a better judgement to the dress

Oaky, I voted for #4 because.....
1. It has a similar waist to #1 which I think looks best on you.
2. I liked the red accents. I love the train on #3, but not the waist. #4 kind of combines the two.
Also, looooove the red trimmed veil.

I'm not a big fan of "lace-up" corset style dresses because, well, I've just seen too many brides showing pudge through the laces.
I think the long red train might be too long for the setting.
I thought #5 was flattering to you, plus the red train had the red you wanted. But the train might be a tad long---I really liked the dress that was sort of cut off to the right side of #5. It had flouncing and a beige sash. Does it come in red?
So, I'm left with #2 as my favorite of these.
