Default My shower is Sunday

My bridal shower is this Sunday. My one bridesmaid has been busting her butt getting things together. I am sure that it will be wonderful. My daughter will be going home with my SIL and staying with her for 2 weeks. I will be leaving with FH after the shower to go to Ohio with him for a week. So here comes the bad news for you ladies, I will not be able to post about the shower till I come back. So that mean no pictures either. I figure by the time I get home, the BM should have pictures of the shower so I can post some.

You know for a second there I mistook that pos & thought I wasn't going to get to hear about any of it till after the wedding!

I think I can just about wait a couple of weeks...

Have a wonderful shower! Do you have any idea if it has a theme?

I am back!! My week was relaxing! I will have to see if anyone has pictures for me yet. The decorations were great!! They had chocolate table cloths down with candles and flowers down on them. The favors were 2 chocolate keys with 5 white chocolate hearts, witht eh saying " (FH name) holds the key to Kellye's heart. They were very cute. I got a ton of noce things. Which is still seating in the middle of my living room. We went thru most of it last night. I only got one repeat. My BP got went in together and got me my dream mixer (5qt Kitchen Aid). My Godmother was there and got me this beautiful vase for flowers and she put this little note on the outside about my mom. I got a tear in my eye on that gift. I got some fun gifts too. I am very happy with how well the shower went. My FMIL spilled a whole cup of coffe on me at the end of the shower. She was trying to help clean up and did not see it sitting there. She seens what she did, and ran away from me. I told her I would get back at her. ( In all fun and games)

Sounds like you had a great time! I'm sure your FMIL was horrified she did that, lol - glad to hear you took it with a sense of humor.

What's a chocolate table cloth? Do you have pictures of that?

ETA: Oh wait. Do you mean chocolate color or actual chocolate?

LOL! I was like - Wow! A chocolate table cloth! You could sit there through the shower and just break pieces off of it, lol.

Let's hear the blonde jokes now...

You will have fun with your mixer. I don't have a kitchen aid, for our first Christmas my mom bought us a Kenmore. I love it, though Kitchen Aid has all those great colors. My mom bought this one because of the 600 watts of power and she said she wanted her grandchildren to be able to have bread and cookies............. anyway.......... you will have fun. I use mine more than I thought. It's cool too cause it does use all the kitchen aid accessories. My Mom has a 6qt kitchen aid that is a monster! We bought it for her for mothers day years ago. She loves the grinder attachment.

The vase sounds lovely. My adopted grandma, took some handwritten recipes of my grandmothers that have passed on, and photo copied them and put them in a binder for a gift (though she didn't give it at my shower cause she knew I would get emotional). I loved it. It meant so much to see it in their handwriting. The funniest thing I got for a shower gift was a box of textured condoms from my MOH and one of my BM.

Don't burst my chocolate bubble! I'm picturing fallbride in a Willy Wonka-like world where everything was made of chocolate and candy! The tablecloth, the furniture....the presents...Ahhhhhhhhhh
