Announcements go into detail near me too. I would also add where you went on your honeymoon, or where you plan to go, etc.

That's awesome that you can put that much and pick what you want it to say. For us we have a form to fill out about where we live and what school we went to and where we work. It's only basic background stuff with a little bit about where the ceremony is and such.

My Mom did mine. I don't even know what she put in it. LOL But, I do have a copy for memory's sake. Maybe I should get it out and read it.

It sounds great. I think H's idea of including the honeymoon would be cool, and you might like to add if you're settling down somwhere other than your hometown.

I take it that your MIL doesn't want Kenny's dad and the Grandparents on Kenny's dad's side mentioned? I only noticed because I had just read about yours...

I still haven't lookied into doing ours yet

Kenny's father has always been in and out of his life. We never even told him we was getting married. He has one set of late grandparent's we might put in there but I have not had a chance to ask him.

Most people put the HM in there but since we still haven't had the chance to take one I left that out. We are in the same town so I didn't see any need to put that down .

Looks good-in addition to other girls' comments, I know around here they usually put where the couple will be residing following the honeymoon...

As far as putting where we work I think that could cause a little to much trouble for me. The two things he said he didn't want in the paper was how old he is and where he goes to work.

Fair enough! I won't be mentioning my father in mine either, just wondered if it was an oversight.

I can understand not wanting to put your work info in!

Do they normally put in anything about the reception? Something like: All their friends & family enjoyed the celebrations at ____ church hall, and the day ended beautifully, with a spectacular balloon release

If you still wanted to out in your HM info, even though you've not taken it you could always say something like "They will be taking their Honeymoon in Las Vegas in the fall" something like that?

Of course it looks fine already!
