Default My BM's Gifts

Found these on the computer and thought I'd post the pictures of them. Lol. I made each girl a fabric memory board and then gave them my favorite picture of the two of us.

I'm sorry for the funky angles. But you get the basic idea. So for Christmas, those who didn't already get one....I bet you get one. Seriously though, very easy to make, and if you watch your cost on fabric and ribbon, it's not expensive. Definitely have to watch the buttons tho, those are outrageous. My trick? I sewed the layers together w/out buttons, and then hot glued whatever on the front to cover it. (Two of the boards have rhinestones, the other has little ribbon roses.) Just thought I'd share!

Just to add. Depending on what kind of board you put inside you can use upholstery nails were the ribbons meet too.

rosettes and rhinestones--brilliant! i made one to match my old bedrood, and omg, it really turned into a more expensive project b/cs i didn't realize how much the little details were... and i mean plain, plastic buttons! but yours look very nice!
