Default OMG- One month to go!!!

I can't believe that the wedding is a month from today!!! I'm so excited but there is so much to be done, and we have a lot of other stuff going on besides wedding stuff:

*We discovered a water main broke under the street at our house. Apparently it is a common problem in our cul-de-sac because they weren't put in correctly 30 years ago. Regardless, FH now has to spend the entire weekend of the 22-23 tearing up the street and replacing the pipe. AND we have to keep the water turned off at the house in the meantime.

*We are leaving tomorrow to go to Hawai'i for the weddings of some of our best friends. We'll be coming back on Sunday.

*I'm 17 pages into my 30-40 page masters thesis, and I have to turn it in August 11. And present it August 9.

On the wedding front....I'm picking up my dress next week and our RSVP date is this weekend, although I know a lot of people still won't RSVP by then. How hard is it to put the frickin' RSVP in the mail after checking yes or no.......IT ALREADY HAS A STAMP ON IT. I have lots left to do on my list, but I've scheduled out when everything is going to be done, so we'll be fine time-wise. I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to be a Mrs.

Sounds like you're going to have a busy month! I totally understand the rsvp issue, I sent mine out with stamps too, I have no idea what the problem is with that.

Anyway, have a lovely time at the wedding! I wouldn't mind going to Hawaii for a wedding!

How long will you have to have your water switched off for? Or is it all fixed now? That would be a massive PITA

I'm having a hard time with RSVPs to a shower right now so I feel your pain. People just suck, lol.

That's crazy about the water main break! How come FH has to fix it and not the town/city?

I can't believe it's only a month away. Time flies doesn't it?

A month left that's where I'm at too ! ! ! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a million other things to do non wedding related. We are purchasing our first home the tuesday after the wedding. I feel you pain on the RSVP's, our return date is monday and we only have received half. Errr ! ! ! ITS NOT THAT HARD PEOPLE!

That's terrible about the water pipe, good luck with that and extra good luck with your paper ! !

I think we got 20 RSVP's and had more then 70 show up, but I knew that would happen....... and I have no idea why people can't put the little itty bitty cards in the mail. HOWEVER, I have to admit that I have been guilty once or twice of the same thing.............
