Unhappy I have no idea....

what kind of flowers I want. And considering that I have *looking at my ticker* about a month until the wedding, this is becoming a problem. Since we've eliminated floral centerpieces and floral decorations on the pews, the altar decorations and bouquets are really all I have left to decide. I'm not happy with the bouquets I have picked out. I just have no idea what I want. I don't want a ton of different flowers or colors in my bouquet, and I've looked at a thousand pictures but haven't found anything I want.

I guess I'm just venting...I'm going to keep NOT working on my paper and look for flowers that I like..possibly even love.

just a suggestion... i went to a bridal dress site (maggie sottero) and looked at the flowers in the bouquets that the model brides were wearing. i didnt find exactly what i wanted but found two that were close and sent them to the florist to come up with something in between. pardon me for not remembering but what are your wedding colors? My FH cousin carried like 4 really long stemmed orange gerber daisies (like the stem went to her knees and they were tied with a thin orange ribbon... it was so simple and absolutely beautiful.

Our colors are seafoam green and aqua blue.

I love white, so initially I wanted something white. But then I realized (lightbulb moment ) that my dress is also white, and that was a problem. Then I wanted a really bright bouquet of all the same color and flower....like a bouquet of hot pink roses or something. (I can't think of an example off the top of my head). Now I don't know what I want.

I had the same concern as you with white flowers against my white dress, but I really love white roses, so I went for it anyway. (My BMs were in black.) There are some photos where it blends in too much, but others where it looks beautiful. If the roses are put together in such a way where you can see each individual rose, it can work. If you have a big ball of them, all symmetrical, etc. it can blend in too much.

Let me know if you want to see photos and I can dig some up.

I loved my BP white tulips with the colored ribbon. I was also scared to go with white I think if put some greenery around it then it would be fine.

I think there are ways to do white with just a *little* bit of green accent so it still stands out from your dress.

I got these pics from the Philips site Michaelsbride posted.

I like this because you can see the stems through the stephanotis blossoms and there looks like there's a little moss or something -- at any rate, really subtle.

Or you could do something like this with the hydrangea only in bouquet form.

I was a little concerned with white flowers and my dress too. But I had greenery around the edges and it didn't blend in with my dress that I noticed. Lemme dig up a good picture...

ETA: here's a pic

I maybe shouldn't sau this but I hate that bouquet. There is a picture of one of these "bullseye" bouquets on the knot too, I just hate those...

Here's two other bouquets. For the one with berries, you could even change the berries to some other random small flower so that the bouquet still stands out against your dress.

Well you can get calla lilies in brick red, but the colour is never guaranteed. You could have the light cala lilies and their green stems would probably be enough to make them stand out against you dress...

Let me get you some links...
brb.

ETA:
These ones are silk flowers rather than fresh, I don't know what you were thinking of...

In this link it's the third image down, and I think it is stunning!

This one is silk again, and even has instructions if you fancy making it yourself!

Default One Color Flowers.

If you are worried about an all white bouquet there is an inexpensive trendy "making a come back" flower that you can get in any color, CARNATIONS!!! Check out Martha Stewart's website and INStyle Weddings. Carnations can be dyed any color so seafoam or aqua blue taadahh. When put in a tight grouping carnations look BEAUTIFUL (be sure to remove any green stems poking out from the top).
If you have any questions please email me!
Sincerely,
Kim Grubbs
