address labels
Okay my trusty sisters... i need ya help...
This is a picture of what our shipping labels look like (made in publisher and customized for our colors and thanks to ann, our picture). Under our address we can put a phrase like "the smith/jones wedding" or anything really we want. but we cant think of anything. want something cute and fun so if you gals (chris and steve any ideas too) have suggestions, the winning idea gets an online hug from me! (lol i know... youre all ready to battle it out)

I would love to help you, but I can't think of any phrases right now. I actually think, if you decide not to put anything, that it looks good the way it is. (Without the "need help here" part.) Sorry I can't be more help!
By the way, I think they look great!!

Well, I'd say if the pic didn't have your names & date on it, to put that there...
But it does so you kind of don't need it...
Unless you want me to send you the version without the writing...
Or maybe even just the date at that line & I'll send you a version of the photo with just your names on it?
I'm drawing a complete mental blank on cute/lovely phrases at the moment...

Well i had thought of that but i figured since it was going through the mail, having the date might look funny... i was thinking like a funny phrase or something like that. or even a short quote?

okay you gave me an idea that michael kinda went for... on every label, a different quote. so i can put short little love quotes on each one that kinda match the personality of the person receiving it... whatcha think?

I'm confused. What are you shipping? Have you checked the USPS regulations as to what can be on a shipping label? I would be worried that the photograph might be confused with one of the personalized stamps.

I like the idea of the personalised quotes
But like Wynelle said: are you sure the labels will be OK? I have no clue what your restrictions are like over there Over here if it doesn't have the Queen's head on it then it isn't a stamp, but you obviously don't have that to keep things clear
Have you looked into what you are allowed?

We're shipping dvd's with a video presentation set to music for our invitation. When i talked to the guy at the post office, he didnt mention anything about pictures.. .just said the stamps had to be on the same side as the address labels. This was a standard shipping label created in publisher... where the picture is, they had a place for company logo. i cant imagine a company logo would be so different than a picture but i suppose i should ask. Thanks! :O)

I like the multiple quotes idea. I also think they would be great if you didn't have anything, and just moved your address and pic closer to the "separator" line.
