duh Found a dress but lost it!

I found the perfect dress but can't find it again. This is the closest I've found to it. This is a pattern & DF's aunt can sew but I'm not sure if I wanna go this way.

I want the style of the lime one but in white or atleast something similar. This isn't a fancy couple here so I don't really want all the beads and fluff. Just something simple but classy.

What do you think? I would like a two piece since i'm long in the torso and legs (I'm amazon girl )

Any ideas ladies?
[BTW: I kinda need to decide since this pattern is now out of print

It's nice. How toned are your upper arms and shoulders? As an older bride, I would probably prefer a wider strap, but my upper arms aren't in quite as good a shape as I would like. If you don't want your aunt to make the dress, you can show the picture to a good seamstress and she can probably duplicate it.

Thumbs up

The dress is really nice. You know that we can't decide for you. But, the style is elegant and classic. I think it would make a lovely wedding gown.

Well, I found it through McCall's and I think that you can still order it even though it is out of print. I'm just so nervous about having someone especially soontobe family make something. I can be a real pain in the @$$ when someone does something for me. My OCD kicks in overdrive. I don't mean to but I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I may order it and hold on to it for a while and keep looking.

As for my arms, my upper body is the smallest part of me although I will be doing MAJOR exercises to get them OH so perfect for this one!

U can go to Joann's and get the pattern. Just keep in mind if you do have someone make it is that they can't work miracles. A lot of people come to my mother with a dress size 10 and want it to be a size 20. Have you thought about going to some one you don't know.
