Default Puerto Rico
Hi im new here...actually never posted on any site before so dont really know what im doing...but all my girlfriends are back in australia...so i need advice...anyway just wanted to ask if anyway has had a destination wedding in Puerto Rico...its where my mans families from and i love it there...any advice at all..i know thats really non specific....but any help would be great...still havnt got past the wedding list and we are planning for april next year...feel like im running out of time so quickly...

I'm afraid I know nothing about it at all! Big help eh?

Have you set a date?
Are your future in laws going to help with the planning down there?
Is it going to be a religous or civil ceremony?

You should still have plenty of time, so long as you have some help down there!

I don't think we've got any other ozzies on here but Emily is from NZ!

Make sure you find out all the legalities, like how long you have to be in PR before you can get married, what forms of ID you need, what kind of officiant is acceptable, that sort of thing.

syringa will probably have good advice on this sort of thing.

Hey mate - an Aussie I assume?? I am from NZ as Ann said - I live in England and we are planning our NZ wedding for Jan 07 at the moment!

I would imagine that there would be companies that deal in destination weddings, I am sure they would be able to tell you everything you need to know about legalities etc...

Hey, I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm going to get marry there. Planning a Destination Wedding is not that easy but possible, I have friends that did it, and they didn't have a problem. The first thing you need is to decide where is going to be, San Juan area, West, South?? I mean where in the island you want to have your wedding. You are going to need help from somebody there, someone that you can call and tell hey I need this..... that's a must.... you can find good vendors information in this webpage : http://www.infobodas.com Hope this helps...
