When to open
OK ladies. My mother passes away 15 years ago. But before she passed, she bought me wedding presents. My mother knew she was sick and she was going to pass. I have the presesnts in my house. I have no idea what is in the boxes. I have never opened them to see. So my question to you is should I open them after my bridal shower, or should I want till we are married?

1st off, Can you ask your Dad or another relative what her intent was?
If not, or they don't know, I would open them before your wedding. She may have items that she intended for you to use/wear ect for your wedding. I would hate for you to miss out on that connection to your Mom on your wedding day by waiting to open them until after.

Well because i'm me and i cant have boxes in the house and me not know whats in them, i admire you for not having peeked already. I agree with breezy that your mom could have shared something with you to use on your wedding day that you definitely dont want to miss... how incredibly special and thoughtful. keep a box of tissues handy.

I think I would probably take a moment to myself the night before my wedding and open them then. Or maybe the day before the wedding with only close family or something.

I agree with the ladies here. I would take some time before hand. Your mother had the forthought to prepare these presents for you. She may have had somethings especially for your wedding day.
