colors for the flower girls
my colors are going to be a dark pink rose color for the bm, my moh is going to wear black with dark pink rose and the guys are going to just wear black. anyhow heres the problem, i have 3 daughters and two nieces that are going to be in the wedding. i want my daughters to stand out more. so i was thinking of having my daughters that will be 13 and 11 match the moh. my two nieces that will be 11 and 9 match the bm and keep in mind my 11 year old nieces look like she is 8. and my daughter that will be 2 wear white but have her dress tie in the back with the dark rose color. do u guys think this will look weird? oh and im thinking of having my nieces walk out first of course by themself and then my 11 yr old and my 13 and 2 yr old last and then i will walk out with my dad.

That's one of my colors, too
Your ideas of having them match sound good. I like the mix of colors and then your 2 year old in white with the pink sash.
When will your MOH and BM walk?

I had my youngest FG walk first, then my other FG, then my MOH, then my uncle & I. My guests said it was nice to see it like that, kind of old fashioned.
But to be honest the girls on here all seem to have had different orders each!
I say go with whatever you think!

I think that sounds great. Are your nieces and older daughters Jr. Bridesmaids, and your youngest daughter the Flower Girl? The mix of colors and how you want to do them is nice. It's sort of like your daughters will be your Jr.BM's of Honor.

I am just a little cofused. Are all 5 of them flower girls or just your daughters? I am just trying to picture everything.
Anyway, I don't know how much advise i can give, since I havn't walked down the isle yet myself, but I think it sounds great. I like the idea of having your daughters close to you in the procession. It gives them a bit more 'prestige' to come in so close to the bride, but it can also give them a few more minutes with mommy before you walk down the isle. I am having my 5 year old son, who is also the ring bearere, walk me down the isle along with my dad, so he can have that 'important' position. It may not be traditional, and some people may think it look funny, but it's your wedding, and if it's important to you, then do it. It's more memorable that way
