I guess I didn't even think about picking a side to walk in on. We had the boys and the girls walk together and so the boys were on right and the girls were on the left just because that's where they needed to end up in the front.
I think I was on the right like the other girls. Again, I think it worked out for the best because I needed to end up on that side and my dad was on the correct side to hand me off to my man.

I read somewhere(darned if I remember where!! ) that you are supposed to walk on the right of your escort. So I am doing this.

I walked in the middle, between my two big brothers.

I walked with my uncle on my left (which is the side that the bride's family sits on over here) so that Moreno would easily be able to take my right arm.

I walked out on my dad;s right side. That is the side Brian was standing on so it was easier. Also we got dressed on that side of the church and the doors leading into the church were glass. I didn't want to have to walk around to the other side of my dad when everyone could see me!! LOL. I was nervous enough.

I think I'll be walking on my left side, just because that's the way the BP will be set up. BM on the left, GM on the right.

I walked in on my Dad's left. He stood between DH and me until after the "who presents" part. Then he passed my hand to DH and took his seat.

I believe my Dad was on my right side. I walked with both of my parents. My parents walked down the stairs first and Mom wanted to hold my Dad's arm and have the railing available for herself (not use to walking down stairs in heels and a LONG dress) then stopped and waited for me to walk down the stairs and they took my arms.

I read somewhere that the bride is supposed to be on the left side of the groom because thats closer to his heart and so that his right arm is free to fight for his family (back in the day when they had swords and stuff i guess)
Which is kind of weird because in my church, the bride and her family are on the right side of the church (when looking in from the back). I guess you can ask the officiant where you should walk in from
