scratching chin Color trouble

You wouldn't think it was THAT DIFFICULT of a decision, but for some reason i just CAN NOT make my mind up ablut the wedding colors for my wedding, I know it is still about a year until the wedding, but my mom wants to go out and look for dresses soon, so having colors in mind would be a deffinate plus. I have a general Idea, and I know I want a deep dark red color, but the problem is I'm getting all lost past that. I like just the red, - or - a nuteral pink and the red - or - chamaine and the red - or - all three (red, pink and champaine). I know in the end it is my decision, but any knowlede, previous experiance, or advice would be most appreciated!!!

Go out looking at dresses. Keep your 3 colors in mind. You might find something that really inspires you

I went with a really dark red and I loved it! I do have to tell you its hard to find things in really dark red with out going to wine. I think pink would look great with it.

I like deep, dark red and champagne. I think dark red and pink would make me think of Valentine's day.

I agree with breezy. I would just start looking at BM dresses and you will find what you're looking for. I had no concrete thoughts on my colors until I found the dresses that I liked.

I like all 3 because it gives you more to work with. You can use one or 2 as the primaries and then the others as accents

I like all 3; use the deep dark red as the main color, the champagne as the accent and the natural pink as a trim. Like for example, say you found a dress that's deep dark red. It's accented with champagne, you could add natural pink colored necklace, bouquet, maybe a little skinny belt. See what I mean?

I picked Red and Champagne. I'm just personally not much of a pink person. And, I agree that the pink would remind me of Valentine's Day. However, if you used it just as accents, like Robyn Lynn and DragonYoga suggested, you could make it work.

wave Thank You

Wow everyone, thanks for all the advice!!! I am thinking of going with the Dark red and Champaine. However I sometimes find it is fun to threaten the groomsmen (who are all very good friends of mine or my brother), that I will make all of them wear pink tuxes. Ironically my brother (the big tough Army Officer) was the only one to shrug his shoulders and say OK. I just thought that was a little funny, thought I would share.

So anyway we are planning to look at dresses sometime in the next few weeks, I will keep you posted on what we decide on. Keep the wonderful advice comingin!!!

Well I am going to throw a spanner in the works and say go with the Dark red and pink - I think they can look really nice together!

Or what about having the dark red with black and white or something like that??
