Default Daisy help

I've decided on daisies for my flowers. I want the white daisies. And FH really showed an interest...a real interest in daisies. (He's letting me run with this so when his eye lit up and he said he loved the daisy idea I have to run with it) Daisies are my favorite flower. I thought about having a bundle of white daisies wrapped in deep purple ribbon for mine and thought about various purple Gerbera daisies for my MOH.

What can I do with a white daisy for FH? He'll be wearing a white button down shirt (semicasual). I wanted he and I to have the white daisies and our attendends to have the Gerbera daisies.

Any suggestions? I worked on this in my sleep all night and can't get past it today. ARGGGG!

Our party supply stores sell a little bout cone thingy (real technical and helpful huh?) in with the wedding items. It's ment to hold the flowers for the guys and keep them straight. They sell them in both gold and silver.

Since Daisy's have a delecate stem, I would thin it would help keep them from wilting. Then add some greenery .

I would also use the smaller daisys for FI and larger ones for you to keep the scale happy

Ann, I loved those ideas. I am looking into using the daisy Bouquet for my center piece http://www.michaels.com/art/online/P...=80&pid=f00169 and the Bridesmaid bouquet but with purple and pinks as well as whites http://www.michaels.com/art/online/P...=80&pid=f00170

I also thought I would use one of the ideas with the daisies in a vase for the reception except we already talked about using Mason jars with candles for centerpieces but I believe I'll just use daisies instead...

we are going to use artificial flowers for budget reasons and we also decided to use flowers left over to make floral arrangements for the two men he calls Dad (his real father and stepfather who raised him have both passed)

But thank you so much for the help. I'll keep you updated.

what would you do to add smalll amounts of color to the bridal bouquet? I thought about twisty sprigs (technical term )of purple through out my white daisies with purple ribbon binding the stims together.

oh yeah, thanks for the michael's link! I love the site. We don't have a Michael's anywhere near here. It's great!

That Michael's bouquet is really pretty

It's just my opinion, but I wouldn't add any more colours, I'd just keep it as it is. But then I'm not really into colourful weddings...

I agree with Ann on adding a lot of color. Daisies are so simple, you may not want to add a lot of color.

I thin ka bit of color like your talking abotu would be ok. You mentioned using gerbera daisies for the bridal party I think that would be fine for your girls but not sure they would make good bout. for his groomsmen they may be a bit large for that.
