I haven't worn them so it's not a personal referance
But isotoner slippers are usually comfy and they make a ballerina slipper in both white and ivory

I cheated, I got 2 pairs.
I had fancy heels for the photos & the ceremony, then sparkly ballet pumps for the reception. It worked perfectly for me.
I'll not be a big help on brands because I bought my pumps locally and they were on £12! (about $20! )

I wore bright white skecher sneakers for both the ceremony and reception. Where what's comfortable for you. I thought of doing the slippers, but with all of the dancing and walking I thought that my feet would hurt because there isn't a lot of "cushion" between my feet and the hard floor. I also have a severe back problem and can't wear heels, so again - do what works for you!

The 2 "comfy" brand names that popped into my head right away were Mootsies Tootsies, and Aerosoles. I did a search for white ballet shoes for those brands and came up with nada. I'm sure if you hit the major department stores though you could definitely find what you're looking for, especially since the ballet flats are so in style now.
Keep in mind though, that they provide no arch support (thus the term "flats" i suppose i should be a detective), and little to no cushioning, so after a whole day of standing/greeting guests/dancing/mingling, it might feel like you have gone barefoot all day. Your dogs might be barking by the end of the night

i wore payless ballet slippers... i got them by accident b/cs the saleslady told me they were only $2! no, i'm not kidding! i'm a major flip-flop girl, so i'm pretty much used to not having arch support (tho i really should be better to my feet!) but i did not even think about my feet hurting at all.... and i didn't notice either. mine were white, but they're dyable, so you can have them ivory or pale blue, even pink. i also bought these cushioned inserts from enzo angiololini that are terry cloth and they were great b/cs tehy absorbed any sweat and provided an extra bit of cushion. a long time ago, i saw nine west had a slipper, but i'm not going to vouch for it's comfyness!

Cool, I'll check the local department stores and payless..
I live in flip flops too, so my feet should be alright in the flats.

I saw the nine west ones when I was over, they had quite cute silver ones, but I didn't see any white or ivory...
