Program question
I am getting ready to print my programs. The main question I have today is do I need one for every person? For instance I have familys of 5 (two adults and their 3 kids) does each person/child get one?
Its a very simple and short ceremony. The main reason I want programs is because on the back I am printing who is at what table instead of doing place cards.

I would think that only those able to read should have programs. Maybe everyone over 12? I don't know. Are the ushers going to hand them out? I found (and at every wedding I have been too) most people don't hang onto the programs. Only about half our programs were even used and at my brothers wedding only a handful even took any..... But despite all that I am glad I took the time to print out a nice program for our wedding.

I personally made 1 for everyone. But, I made them with my computer and then used the church's xerox machine to make the rest of them. It was very cheap and easy for me to make a lot.
I would count on 1 per adult.

Yeah I was planning on the usher making sure that they had a program. Like I said they need it because it has the list of who sits where on the back. Its a multi purpose program. I hope that isn't tacky

I had this same issue!!! I made one per every adult and I had TONS left over!!!!!! I know that doesn't help you any, but I figured some of the couples just took one program....

 everyone took mine...
I made one for every guest (but I only had 3 kids there, and it gave them something to hold...)
I don't even have one left for myself!
I guess it depends on the crowd, I guess mine likes souvenirs!

I made enough for each person, but I have no idea if the ushers gave any to the kids, or just adults.

I made at least one for every guest (we didn't have very many kids at the wedding) and I have no idea how many we had leftover. I would make at least one for every guest. Is it going to hugely cut into costs if you make a few extra?

I made 60 for 8- guest but it was just a wild number I come up with. I think making one per family is fine just make sure the ushers know this.

I still have a ton left over! I had at least one per person, kids included.

One per couple or one per family is fine IMO.

I always recommend 1 per couple/family. (Make sure to set aside some for you and for the bridal party). Unlike too many napkins, there really is no use for programs after the wedding day.
