Let's see...my name is Renee and I'm 23. I grew up in the country not far from a small town. My granparents lived across the field, as well as my aunt and some cousins, and I had an uncle that lived up the lane. I have one sister, she's 20 now. I can't wait until she turns 21, we have so much fun together just goofing off. (She is also my MOH.) My parents are still married, and will celebrate 25 years next June. I grew up with my best friends, as they lived just down the road. We've managed to stay close despite the distances from each other. But I love them both dearly and wouldn't trade them for the world. (They're sisters, ironically, and both are bridesmaids.)
I met Chris (FH) in 2004. We just clicked right away, and despite the age difference (he's ten years older than I am) I just knew that I was going to be with him. Well, at the beginning, (even though everyone could see it) he didn't call us bf/gf or anything. He had also said that he would never get married. But because I knew I wasn't going anywhere...I moved in with him in June. And lo and behold, he came home one night from work and asked me to marry him. (Well, sort of.) I am wrapping up my CDA classes this month, and have also attended community colleges taking general courses. I plan on going back next fall to pursue something in the medical field. I currently work as a preschool teacher assistant.
Anything else....mmm, I am extremely close to my grandmother although she is starting to show her age (mentally, I mean). We have two cats, Liberty and Jack, who are pretty much our kids. We just bought our house in April, and that's been our focus of extra money pretty much.
