Unexpected find
FH and I went shopping yesterday afternoon for his ring. Which he found, it's titanium with three small diamonds set in it. It's pretty.
However, (which I should have known better), I wandered over to look at other rings just for the hey of it. Lo and behold...there's a band that has the exact same design as my ring. I'm thinking, awesome. So, I try it on. It looks sweet with my ring. Best part? It was on sale for $100. So I bought it, b/c I wasn't happy with the band that came with my ring. (If you look at my avatar, it's the set...can you see the band? No? See, that's my point.) So, I will now have some bling bling that's visible after next Saturday.
I'm stoked.

That's so cool! Then again, I love the ring in the avitar - can you post a pic when you get it?

That is awesome!! Congrats on your great find.
I found a match for my e-ring out of the blue too, although it wasn't on sale like yours was.

You (anyone) should think of having it custom made to match your e-ring. I did this, and then Mike had his band custom made to match my rings. It wasn't anymore expensive than buying from the case, they just took a little bit of time to get back to us.
Also - I owe someone a pic of my rings and Mike's so they could see how they match. Does anyone remember that conversation? I ask b/c I ordered a new USB cable for my camera. Maybe I'll post and whoever asked will see it. Didn't mean to HJ!

I have the ring now, and will post a pic as soon as I can. Heather, when I looked at e-rings it had not crossed my mind to have something custom made. Mind you, the two tone was my color compromise since we couldn't afford rubies (which FH says on Saturday, "well why didn't we have your grandma's ring made into a set?"). I might at some point have one custom made, or maybe for our 5 year ann. we can get the ruby ring made into a set or something.
