The etiquette of inviting bosses depends on the size of the business where one works. If it is a small business and you know your boss fairly well, then it is reasonable to invite them. If, however, one works for a larger company and has only a professional relationship with the supervisor, then they would not be invited to a personal social event.

Ditto. But I'm not inviting my ex-co workers and boss either from my last job, even though I worked there for a while.

I'm inviting some select coworkers, but I'm also friends with them, so they aren't really co-workers.

I said both, because if I had them I would have invited them.. well and I did invite all my coworkers and my boss from my old job back home.

I had two tables of guests from my work, and some of them were my bosses.

At my first wedding, I didn't invite anyone I worked with. My Mom, however, invited everyone at her office... there were only 6 people.

I invited everyone on staff...yeah...all 200+ people...hence the cake and punch reception vs a sit down dinner!
My mom raised me to never leave someone out....geez woman...what were you thinking?

I'm not inviting any of my coworkers because I'm having my reception where I work. They'll be busy working. Wesley will be inviting the 3 people in the department he works in.

I'm inviting all of my co-workers I think....but they're only getting to come to the reception. (Our ceremony site requires a small crowd.) So that's why they're all invited....otherwise I'd probably pick and choose. I'm not inviting my boss...my co-workers wouldn't want to see her and I don't either (can you feel the love for her?) lol. FH is planning on inviting some of his co-workers, and that's fine with me.
Side note- my boss lives far away from here so it's not likely for her to be willing to travel....and I try not to mention anything about the wedding in front of her. She also didn't attend another girl's reception that was about three weeks ago, so I don't think she'd come to mine either. (There are only 11 women where I work.)
K, think I'll stop rambling now.

I invited both...
I invited my supervisor and my co-workers, but I only had one supervisor and two co-workers, and since it is a small office, they were like family to me. My supervisor and one of my two co-workers came to the wedding. My husband invited his boss (he declined) and several co-workers (about half of them showed up).
