Default I want to scream!!!

I just got an e-mail from my aunt. Apparently she and the family have sent me a bunch of things off of my Crate and Barrel registry. One big shipment in January and another big one in May. I guess it was all of my China. Hundreds of dollars worth of stuff.

I FORGOT TO UPDATE MY ADDRESS WITH CRATE AND BARREL WHEN WE MOVED!!!!. This stuff went to the old address!!!

I called Crate and Barrel and they said if the people at my old address signed for the packages then I am SOL. If they did not sign they can resend the stuff. They are checking into the tracking and stuff through UPS and will get back to me in a couple of days.

I can't take the pressure. I may have lost the best gifts off of my registry. I need to calm down somehow. I am such an idiot.

That is awful. I really hope they were honest enough not to sign for it... But then maybe they would have thought it was a house warming gift for them, and wouldn't have realised until they had opened it...

I hope my guess is wrong

OMG that really stinks. Hopefully, they didn't sign for them. Isn't against federal to open someone else's mail? At any rate, if they did take the presents- send them a thank you card for stealing your gifts. When do you find out?

You changed the address now right.

Sorry for the problems. Even if someone did sign for it, couldn't you take up the false delivery with the delivery co? (UPS or FedEx or whomever) I mean the point in getting a signature is to confirm proper delivery.

Hopefully they didn't sign, and you won't have to worry about it. But, if they did I would deffinitely look into that as well as trying to contact the new homeowners personally. Most people really aren't theives at heart. They may have signed without even realizing it wasn't theirs. I mean, when I get a delivery, I always sign before I even look at the package. The company delivering it usually has you sign before they hand it over.

The thing is, it was proper delivery. This was the address I had in there. Right now DF is on the phone with Crate and Barrel trying to get some instant answers. I will let you know what he finds out.

Good news. The people who received the packages just brought them over to the apartment office. They are holding them for me to pick up right now. If all goes well I should have them shortly. Yea!! Good thing DF called when he did. I would have been waiting forever to get them becasue UPS would have to pick them up bring them back the C and B and then redeliver to me. No thanks to the lady I initially taked to there Thank goodness for honest people also.

WHAT A FLIPPING MESS!!! Good deal that it all worked out. I say, get the people at the old address a $25 gift cert to crate & barrel ($50 if you are loaded ) as a thank you!! That really rocked.

I love my dishes - here they are:

I got 2 of the bloom platters (floral platter) which are sooo cute.

I think I am addicted to chocolate brown things.

Those are really sharp Are you going to start using them now or wait until after the wedding?
