Default Strapless Wedding Dress or Straps????

I have noticed that most of you are wearing strapless wedding dresses so was interested to know how many are wearing (or have worn in the past) strapless, with straps or not even wearing a dress???

You didn't have a choice for my dress, so I chose "straps." Actually, my dress was long-sleeved. The sleeves were lacy, so I had the "illusion" of sleeves without sweating to death.

I'm wearing a sleeveless, it's not really straps though.

I think so many have strapless dresses because there are just so many out there. I wanted a long sleeved dress, since I'm getting married in December, but was hard pressed to find one, I tried on one and it was very lacy, not me at all.

I wanted a dress that had sleeves, too, but it seems that they all were a little too ornate for me once sleeves became part of the equation.

I am not too worried about going without straps, my boobs will hold that puppy up.

The other issue with the dress is that I'm getting married in January, but I'm sure most of the pics will be inside and I am thinking of getting a cloak made for outside shots.

Oh I didnt vote - my dress has straps!

And yeah you are right there are so many strapless dresses out there - most of the bridal shops I went to it was 80% strapless and 20% straps or sleeves - crazy!!!

I'm wearing a strapless dress. I've always loved strapless stuff, and it has a corset back and will be laced very tight....I'm not worried about it falling down.

My dress has cap sleeves that are optional. I really dislike them and am not wearing them. I'm going strapless with a corset back too. The corset back is helping to keep the sisters in place without falling out.

I really didn't think I was going to go strapless, but I like the way it looks.

I am wearing strapless. I planned on wearing straps or a halter top-type but once I tried the dress on I knew I had to have it.

My dress had straps. That was one of my requirements. I don't have enough in the front to hold up a strapless. LOL But, the woman at the store told me that they could add straps to any of the strapless styles if I decided that I like one of those. I ended up finding "the one", which already had straps.

It was a halter top style. I felt that the strapless kept falling down but I also have a long torso at 6' tall. Plus, I hated the little bit of armpit fat there the way the dresses sat on me.

I wore a halter top, so I voted for straps. I didn't want to worry about the dress falling down all night. I just know myself, and knew that I would be pulling on it.

my dress had little lace cap sleeves, but they sat more on the shoulder than off, so "straps" for me. being larger than your petite bride, i did not think strapless would do me any good (definitely large-busted!), but my #2 choice was strapless, and i was pleasantly surprised by how flattering it actually was. but the two details that made me opt for my gown were the sleeves and the color!!!
(CW, if you read this, we also got married in jan (duh) and a friend of mine knitted a shrug for me, which was perfect for our outside pics and getting to and fro!!)

I said "straps," but my dress had short, off-the-shoulder sleeves.

My dress had cap sleeves that sat just off the shoulder. I voted straps.
