Default rehersal dinner invites

When do I mail out rehersal dinner invites? Same time as reg. invites? Closer to the wedding??

Hmm... good question. I didn't mail out invites, I just shot an e-mail to the bridal party (both sides), our family and a few out of town guests I knew would be arriving in time to come.

I think we sent ours out about 2 weeks before. We didn't want to send them with the invite because we were afraid they would forget by then.

We sent them with the invite. But we had a whole bunch of out of towners and invited them all so we had a big rehearsal dinner.

Gosh, I'm trying to remember when ours were sent out. I think we sent them out closer to the wedding. Maybe 2-3 weeks out.

We sent our regular invites 2 months out. The RD invites were sent 1 month out.

Our RD invites couldn't really go out until we had received the RSVPs back from the out of town people. And we also had to be within the caterers' requirements. So they went out one month prior to the wedding, to those who had positively RSVPed to the actual wedding.
