Default weekend

Well saturday I worked all day and then went home and cleaned the house. later that night:
I was planting my mil pots for her mother's day surprise and I had a group of guys try to break into my house. Matt was on duty, but luckily he was in the area. I called him and he came to my rescue. When I was still on the phone with him he told me to grab the shot gun and stay in the bedroom. I was lucky to grab the right gun. He got to the house and I identified the guys. He then took them to jail and i went to my in-laws for the rest of the night. Matt charged them with:
The one who looked in on me was charged with:
peeping tom
tresspassing
drunk in public
obstruction of justice
and Minor in possision
He was 16 so he got released to his mom.
One of the others who was 19 got:
Minor in possision
drunk in public
but nothing else.
the oldest one who was 22 got:
contributing to minors
and drunk in public

Then the guy who brought the 16 y/o's mom to the jail to get him, got put in jail as well for Obstruction of justice for having a fake id.

Matt got off of work at 6:30 am because of all of this. Then we went to bed and had to be at my bil's graduation at 11. Needless to say we were exhausted. After the gradation we came home and took a nap and then went to my bil's party at my il's house. We didn't leave there until 12:30.
I then had to get up at 6:30 monday morning.

I am so glad this past weekend is over. I just now may possibly have to go to court, but that's no big deal. Just thought I would share my weekend.

OMG... that's my biggest fear! Whenever I'm up in the middle of the night to check on Natalie, I always look out the window to make sure everything's kosher around the neighborhood.

Glad to know you're OK!

I'm so happy the guys were arrested, and more than anything that you're okay.

By the way, can you shoot a shotgun? I think that has to be the coolest thing ever! You rock on with your bad self.

I would love to know how to shoot. I've only shot a gun once, a big ol' shotgun when I was 13. Knocked me right on my ass and left a bruise on my shoulder/neck for a week.

I am glad that you are ok!!!

Heather, My FH got me a gun safety class for Valentine's DAy one year. That was the best!!! I was in a classroom with one other women. Classroom for an hour then the range for an hour. FH tells everybody he had a whole new respect for me after he seen how well I shot. The last time I shot before that class, was a teenager. You should see if there is any gun ranges that have the safety class for you to take.

One thing we want to do is go to an indoor range. I haven't touched a gun for years either. The last thing I pulled a trigger on was a water pistil! Ahhhh we all learn to shoot and we could form a Pash Gun club!

I just thought of something......we could call it BRIDES WITH GUNS!

Steph, I am so glad you're okay!

Kim, we probably could. Tom's going to buy me a gun and teach me to shoot at some point, too. I'm not exactly into guns myself, but since we're going to have them in our house I feel like it would be most responsible to know how to properly handle, shoot and care for them.

I have my own personal instructor, so do you cw. DH is # 2 in the department, just below the under sheriff. He is giong to take me out sometime to see if i can get a little more accurate. But me shooting a gun would probably make any person run for thier lives.
