Yay! Plans :)
So today I finally had a talk with my sister/MOH and we figured out the final details of my bachelorette party. We've been tossing around lots of ideas, which included theme parks, bars, hotels, camping, etc.
I (finally) got aggravated with trying to please everyone, and then my sister had a good idea, one that lets everyone be involved to the level they want.
We're going to go to the Olive Garden for dinner (yum!) followed by a show at a comedy club nearby. After that, those that want to go on home can, and the rest of us will go out to the bars to dance the night away until we get kicked out, lol. Then we'll go home or crash at somebody's place.
I figure this lets my mom and aunt come along for a bit, so they don't feel left out. And us younger/like-to-drink ones can have our fun too. Good plan, yes?
I now need to figure out costs (each girl will be responsible for her own dinner) and see if I can find a reasonable limo company to cart us around to the bars. (We don't have to have one, but it'd be nice to not have to worry about driving.) Kudos if the company can offer us a VIP package to a club somewhere.
Any other thoughts/suggestions? I'm open to them.

Make sure Mom goes home early. Period.
At one point I was dancing on the bar, thinking my Mom left. When I turned around with my big-ass white feather boa, I saw my Mom mouthing the words: "Heather! Get off the bar!" Her brows were furrowed and she was pointing down.
I looked around for my MOH who saw what was happening. She grabbed my Mom and brougt her to the other side of the bar where she couldn't see me. The limo driver then brought my Mom and her friend to another location for the rest of the evening, lol.

Awww well I'd go with Heather's suggestions - say adios early to the parental figures!! Whatever you do, just have a great time!! Don't buy any drinks - and live it up!!

And how, exactly, am I supposed to get sloshed if I don't buy drinks? Or are you saying that everyone else should buy them for me?
I checked into prices earlier....I can get a limo bus for $89/hr. Not a bad deal...has leather couches, dvd player, flat screens, surround sound, neon lighting, bar.....sweet.

I think your plan sounds great. with all that yummy italian food, im sure your mom will start feeling sluggish and wont be up to goin out to a bar. just include some wine with dinner and she'll really wanna go home and crawl into bed....crawling into my bed sounds good right about now lol

I wish I could have been there to see that!
I've never been to a bachelorette party where moms were invited. I know I wouldn't have wanted my mom at mine.

I think it's really nice that you are involving your mom and your aunt. I'm sure they'll know to go home after dinner, unless your mom is like Heather's!
I think all in all, sounds like a really fun night!

My Mom is a blast when she goes out, it's not very often though. I had no problem with her and her friends being with us at all, until of course I was loaded and felt the need to shake my groove thang on the bar.

I would take cars to dinner, then drop them off and have the limo pick you up after the food has been digested so you can drink and dance the night away. The party buses are fun too!
It sounds like you have a great night planned.
