My MOH dress
I'm planning to go to my first fitting this Saturday. The wedding isn't until July 9. I know its kinda soon, but the weeks are flying by and i'm going nuts cuz i want to try the dress on so bad.
Anyhoo, the dress size is a 16, i'm usually a size 10-12 but cuz of my bust, they ordered a 16 so they're going to really resize it. Do you guys think it would be a big hassle if i lose a little weight and have them take it in a bit more? or is that what 2nd fittings are all about?
This is what my dress looks like

No clue about the actual question, but the dress is fantastic.

Thanks, dont forget to check out the back of it. I fell in love with this dress. it has a slight tail in the back along with the chocolate color sash and the best part is that the frilly tulle stuff underneath is light.

Very pretty.
It is always easier to take in a dress than let it out!!!! So don't worry about losing weight. That's what the fittings are for!!!

I love the dress but I wouldn't tell them to take it in more. Like Robyn said it is hard to let a dress out. Most places don't leave much room to let out so I would let them take it up to the size you are now and then try it on again.

Its a beautiful dress!
Yep that is what second fittings are for - just in case you loose weight!
For our NZ wedding I am going to have a seamstress booked in for the day before the wedding to do any last minute altering as I am planning to loose a load of weight!

I would just tell the seamstress that you plan on losing a few more pounds, and maybe she can suggest something for you. But don't have it taken in tighter in hopes of losing weight. You want to be comfortable the day of the wedding. And there may be a chance you may not lose any more weight (hopefully not though!). But yes, she can take it in more at your second fitting.
That dress is beautiful!! I love it.
