We're not planning on going anywhere just taking a couple days to ourselves afterward without the baby.
But if I was saying flying to where-ever I don't think I'd want to go traipsing through an airport or sit in my wedding dress that much longer.

To me, that's tacky, unless the "wedding dress" is actually a standard dress. Ballroom gown + airplane = bad news. My dress is just a linen sundress, so I'll be wearing mine again after the wedding. But no one would suspect it's my wedding dress really.

No, I wouldn't wear my wedding dress to travel on my honeymoon. We are spending the night here in town before our flight leaves the next day, and I am going to drop off my dress at home and not take it with us. I would be too uncomfortable to wear it on the plane or anywhere else casual.

My dress is HUGE with a loooooong train!!! There is no way I would travel in it. I am not even wearing it from the church to my home after the wedding!! Or from my home to the wedding.

Hell no I wouldn't have worn my dress in an airport/on an airplane! It's hard enough to fit in those tiny airline seats when you're wearing regular clothing. I would have needed two seats if I wore my dress on an airplane!

If I had a dress like Vic's I may - but a big poofy thing - no way. Not because I think it's tacky or anything, but because of my fear of flying. I'm fairly careful to dress appropriately while flying in case something happens. I dress so that I'm ready to move quickly and nothing that will catch on fire fast (nylons, synthetics, etc.)

My 1st wedding dress wouldn't have FIT anywhere to travel. Getting from the reception to the B&B we were staying at was fun enough. The dress was all poofed up around me, I must have looked ridiculous!

Yeah, there is no way that my poofy dress would've even remotely been comfortable enough to sit on a 5 hour plane ride! I could barely sit down to eat!
But, I guess if you're dress is one of the sleeker kinds, then why not? You'll only get to do it once.

Yeah, I'm wearing mine every day till we get to NYC...
So that is: Friday (for the wedding), saturday, sunday, monday & all day tuesday (when we have 2 filghts)
Actually... you know what?
I think I might never take it off.

My a$$ would so not fit in an airplane seat if I had worn my dress. Could you imagine. ....Attention passengers, for todays in flight entertainment we will watch the passenger in seat 13A try to squeeze out of her seat and fit into the airplane bathroom.... I GUARANTY I would be stuck like chuck in that tiny little stall.

Oh yeah, I hadn't even thought of trying to go to the bathroom on a plane in my dress! I needed 2-3 people to help me the day of the wedding!
