I just got a call from them about winning a vacation and gift package. I didn't answer the phone because I didn't know the # on caller ID.

Anyway listened to the message and then did a quick search,

Exactly what I thought!!! Needless to say I WON'T be calling them back.

Do people seriousely think that brides and grooms have nothing better to do with their time than to sit through a 90 min. scam?? Do people really fall for this stuff and make purchases???

one of my BM got one of those calls and went to it!!! She took her dad with her.

We've gotten multiple calls like that. We've never actually gone, although we did schedule to go one time and never went. I don't want to waste my time.

Ohh I'm glad you posted that...I haven't received the call but I am sure I will at some point...We should all make it that we go to the same one. We could harass the presenter the entire time, asking ridiculous questions about the product. Just for fun!!

I must be bored outta my skull if that is fun to me, huh?!

They sat thru the whole thing, and at then end they told them they have this vacation plus some other things. You have to pay to get to the point of vacation, then they would take over some of the cost. It is nothing but a scam. I think both her and her father did not catch that whole thing. (they always are looking for something for nothing) I really think if you would give money to these people they would take it and run for the hills.

These things are all scams. The scammers feed upon brides and grooms who are looking to save $ by getting a "free" honeymoon/vacation.

I know that several years ago, there was some huge issue with Royal Prestige cookware. They were giving away "free" stuff if you attended one of their cookware demonstration sessions. They'd use high-pressure tactics to get you to buy the cookware. It was highly overpriced and the brides/grooms who did actually buy it more often than not reported how the cookware fell apart after less than a year's worth of use.
